Calzaghe beat a prime Kessler. This Kessler, Joe could beat with one hand.

Yep, definitely. Calzaghe is too busy partying, snorting cocaine etc.

At LHW, Calzaghe still beats him. Once Calzaghe had the distance figured out he knew what to do.

If they fought tomorrow and considering the fact that Calzaghe has been retired for a few years now, then yes.

    Other than that, no.

Of course not, this Kessler isn't 70% what the 2007 and before Kessler was.

Now, I always felt that with a new gameplan Kessler may have been a bit more competitive in an immediate rematch...but any version of him from 2009 through the present? Loses 10 out of 10 times to the same Calzaghe that beat him in 07...and it wouldn't be anywhere near as close.

While Kessler has developed new skills under Montoya, he is also visibly aging. He has lost speed, combinations and gets hit more. That being said, he is now more of a warrior than old Kessler ever was.

No way this fading Kessler would beat prime Calzaghe, even if I (as a dane) was happy to see him end the fight in convincing fashion.

green's not even good enough to be one of calzaghe's coke snorting buddies and that was a way better kessler that fought calzaghe then the one that fought green.
