I am sick to the back teeth with boxers with Glass Jaws

What happened to guys who could take a punch? It seems every second fighter has no Chin. None. WTF happened to the most important attribute in boxing, i.e. punch resistance.:thinkatsch

Boxing in general is going downhill. Between the China Chinned HBO Hype Jobs, drug cheats, and cowardly cherrypickers who refuse to make the big fights happen, you have a sport whose only redeeming quality at the moment is the abundance of Shattered Glass.

 

You don't think heart is more important. Also glass jaws have always existed in boxing.

 

All the Heart in the World will not help one if one is knocked senseless every time one's Frangible Mandible is brushed. A Chin is the singlemost important attribute to possess in Boxing because without it you are nothing but a brutal and embarrassing KO waiting to happen. That is a Fact.

 

Nothing happened to the guys who could take a punch. Nobody could KO Mosley, Floyd Jr., Froch, Pavlik, and etc.

All of them had **** jaws and still succeeded in boxing

 

Tommy is one of my favorites of all-time, but that does not change the Fact that his Glass Jaw cost him all of his biggest fights. We might be talking about SRR vs. Hearns for GOAT were it not for Hearns' Chin.

 

And all the chin in the world will not help if one has no technique. It works both ways.

 

A rudimentary brawler with an Iron Chin and some power will go a lot further than a slickster with a Grade AAA China Chin. Fact.
