no, i never called him glass jawed... its to be expected when a high KO% meets a guy that has been knocked down alot and knocked out recently.
glass jaws go down from grazing punches, jabs, guys with low KO% ....greens chin isnt that bad, but not far from it...he was nearly ko'd on espn2 a few years back by a guy that wasnt even ranked and had no power....thats when you knew his chin wasnt much to write home about

Exactly. Donny McCrary. And, THIS is exactly when I announced to this forum that Green had a glass chin. In 2006, not 2012, as some of the glass jaw deniers around here would have you believe!:patsch:lol:

Those that are usually first to point out glass jaws are usually insecure about their glass mandibles. :deal

I will ask again how many more times does Green have to be KOed for the idiots on here to realize he has an abysmal Glass Jaw?

Glass Jaws do exist in Boxing and we WILL continue to discuss them on ESB. Fact.

Well, he's only actually been knocked out twice (once before today) - but it's the number of times he's been down/hurt/badly staggered that tells us about his deficiencies in punch resistance. And all those times down/hurt/badly staggered weren't even from big punchers!! The majority of them were actually quite toothless!

 Spare me the bull****. WTF do you think I am trying to rewrite? That you take joy in guys getting KO'd? That once a guy get's KO'd, that you predict that will be the case from there out? And if he doesn't, you come back with some lame ass excuse as to WHY you were wrong? Is that what I am trying to rewrite?

  10. This guy is the cover star of Glass Jaws 5. I´m now going to enter discussions with my fellow ChinCheckers about the next installment in the series, and this disgrace will grace the cover.:deal

This guy is horrible. I mean how in the hell does he keep on getting title shots for doing absolutely nothing besides losing? This is worst than Zab's opportunities... at least Zab Judah finishes fights for the most part, and at least he tries in the first 4 rounds and gets some work done against Elite level fighters... but Green gets his ass beat the whole fought and then gets KO'd, he does nothing. He doesnt even fight in rounds. He should have never been in the super 6, i mean, could they not find better fighter than him? Just like I said he was going to be brutally KTFO by Kessler. Hopefully he never gets a title shot again and just goes back to the gym, become a 2tier trainer.

Kessler's shot would have KO'd most fighters (including Ward, who I saw get dropped by journeymen Darnell Boone at the Rose Garden).

Green has a shaky chin but that doesn't bother me. Green talked all kinds of **** to Kessler, had Kessler hurt in the first and took his foot off the accelerator. If you are going to talk ****, have some balls and back it up. Otherwise, be humble and you won't look like a douchebag when you get KTFO.

There is no way to KNOW that it would have dropped ANYONE else. However, it DID drop Allan Green, who had a clearly suspect chin. And what's more, it knocked him COLD - the telltale sign of a glass jaw. Seems like the lack of punch resistance is the key factor here!:yep

The punch would have iced most, but we all know Green does not have muscles on his chin,he should do more to avoid such contact.
