Really? I have never been so sure of a fight, ever. JDS is going to knock him out in the first. Cormier, however, poses an interesting threat. His striking has improved a lot with each fight, and we all know about his olympic level wrestling. JDS has goo TDD, but is it good enough to stop a guy like Cormier? Very interesting fight.
I will put JDS in the League......BUT I´m afraid of this fight....but you mentioned a good point, JDS has a good TDD.....
I never thought a 9 fight novice would school a great like Barnett but hell, I became a bigger fan of both guys tonight... Make the fight vs JDS/Mir winner.
I think we will finally see Junior on his back if this happens. I think JDS' jab will trouble Dan, but when he gets that takedown if will be very interesting
Don't think anybody is stopping cormier from taking them down if he wants to. The power and the tecnique is just freaky. Only way anybody beats this guy is somebody like JDS lands a right hand bomb on his noggin and puts him to sleep. Don't think it'd look like the Dos Santos vs Cain fight though, and if he does land that bomb it's not going to come easy.
The fight will be made after Mir/JDS...... He has no other options aside from someone like Hunt or Struve.
If JDS doesn't spark Mir straight away and Mir somehow gets him down? This is MMA, anything can happen, though I expect JDS to do what his mentor did times 10 and stop Mir early doors. Cormier Vs JDS is the fight to make IMO. Cormier TKO 3, g'n'p :deal
Helwani asked Cain yesterday, he said no chance would he fight his coach and training partner. Cain will need another fight after Big Foot (I hope the winner of Werdum-Russow) and Cormier has Strikeforce fight and probably one in the UFC. It'll work itself out I reckon.
