CHanged how? Ive only watched it the once so far but i was quite awake and quite sober.

To me Kessler made the slowest start to a fight ive ever seen from him and was a little lucky to make it out of the 1st round while Green actually looked great with that jab working but once Kessler settled down he caught Green and the American didnt look so great and with his chin being a bit **** and Mikkel being intent on knocking him out it was only a matter of time.

I only watcehed fight once and it was pretty early in morning but why didnt Green jump on the obviously shaken Kessler after the knock down. It looked like he deliberately let Kessler back into the fight. The punch he threw to rock Kessler from memory was a short straight right, can anyone tell me if he threw that same punch again. I was half a sleep but I dont remember him doing so, all I remember were mostly jabs with some hooks thrown in. It looked a bit dodgy to me

I think there were 2 reasons why Green didnt go all out, 1 is i dont think he realised just how hurt Kessler was and 2 he knows how dangerous Kesslers power can be and judging by how the 1st round was going this fight was his to control so there was no rush.

I've watched it twice. Same impression: Kessler was a bit rusty in the 1st round - once he got that wake-up call and upped the tempo, it was too much for Green who couldn't deal with that level of intensity.

Kessler is like a robot that needs some oil these days. His peak was the Andrade and Calzaghe fights. IMO.

He just had 11 months lay off, would actually be crazy if he didn`t look rusty in the first round! The change started in the end of second round

This. . They were exchanging HEAVY, POWER jabs in the first two rounds. . but around the end of the second, beginning of the third, Kessler started getting his head movement on a little, and was outjabbing Green. . .

He was also shooting MEAN straight right hands to the chest/stomach, as I dub it "THE HEART STOPPER" - one of the most underutilized punches. . That really took some OOMPF out of Green. . Green kept dropping his right, trying to land his own slower left hook, Kessler JOE FRAZIER'D him with that leaping left hook from the outside. . Wiped him perfectly across the mandible. . .

In an interview, Montoya told he had noticed that Green had a glass jaw, but only on his right side, Greens left side is strong. But when he gets hit on his right he goes down.

Kessler is past of his prime. I don't think that he can beat guys like Dawson , Pascal , Cloud or Hopkins at 175 and definitely he can't beat Ward , Bute or Andre Dirrell at 168.

Kessler should rematch with Froch and then retire.

I wouldn't mind Kessler fighting Froch again - but why on earth would he want to make a rematch against Froch if it's to be his last fight? - I mean he beat Froch pretty clearly the first time and Froch hasn't done anything since then to "earn" the shot - neither does he hold a belt ... What is in it for Kessler? especially if it's to be his last fight?

If he wants to go out with a bang - then he should rematch Ward - or fight Bute or Dawson ... Fights that makes sense :)

As for the fight - Kessler was a little rusty, but once that was gone so was Green. Kessler still knows his jab-jab-cross - but has added more to the arsenal - and has proved that he is able to change gameplan with the help of his corner. He might be a little slower and a bit older - and he does get hit a bit more - but he is still game - very much so.
