Have either of the Klitschko's ever fought anyone as big as Price in their career?

Timo Hoffman was about that size, I think. Vitali's comeback fight after Byrd and the surgery. Hoffman was undefeated. He was the first to go the distance with Vitali, in a wide loss. It was for the European title.

 

First big man and Vitali struggled to win. Clits can only beat cruiserweights, they'd both struggle vs. Price or SNV.

 

Tony Thompson is as tall as Wlad.

 

I always wanted to see them face SNV purely because it would force them both to fight different to how they ever really have before, Wlad would have put on a clinic.

But no I beleive the tallest person Wlad has faced is Thompson who is an inch or so shorter than himself

 

Thompson is 6'5(KO11), Austin 6'6(KO2), McCline 6'6(RTD10), Jefferson 6'6 (TKO2).

Nah Mccline was never 6'6, his bald-ass was inflated for the stats, looked noticably smaller than wlad in the ring and always a few inches shorter than Vitali, I remember this fight was on the....overcard :think of Mayweather - Corrales

Yeah, these pictures can be misleading though. Adamek has pictures where he looks taller than Arreola, etc. There's one picture floating about where Matlala looks only two inches shorter than Paul Williams. I assure the disparity was much worse. Say Volo is 6'6.5 and McCline is 6'5.5 and they both round them up or down to 6'6. I think things like that happen all the time. Besides, Vitali is about a hair under 6'8, I think. So, that looks about right to me, the top one.

 

Oh believe me, I have learned well the use of angled pictures to make things appear bigger. :yep

 

Apart from Valuev which tall fighters have been in a position to fight a Klitschko? The best contenders have been average sized heavyweights, and sometimes shorter

Alot of boxers struggle with fighting taller opponents. David didn't.

I hope this fight does happen before Wladimir retires.. They have similar fighting styles and Price has the edge in size.. Power? Who knows at this point, but damn that would be an interesting fight, especially as he apparently holds up well when sparring with him.
