He has some talent, but without dedication and will he will go nowhere.

I am not sure why Solis is even talked about as much as he is on here his best win is probably Ray Austin who took him like 10 rounds :rofl:patsch

Solis doesn't have a Chin and he has no dedication why do people try and make him out to be something he isn't? In his one fight where he stepped up he didn't even last a round and got his Glass Jaw shattered and blew out his knee.

Getting tired of the hate for the guy. He comes outta the AMs and fighting nothing but above average to good competition and eats all of em except in his lone title fight when he was injured.

I hate the fat pig, but he's top 5 if he wants it.:-(

Solis weighed 253 lbs for that fight and he looks solid. Thick, but solid. I'm certain that anything between 240 to 250 lbs. is very reasonable for him.

Too many people -- especially Americans weaned on a diet of idiotic TV shows and sexist consumer advertisements -- believe that a guy is "not fit" unless he is tall, thin, long limbed and has a waistline that's noticeably small relative to shoulders. That's because this is the ideal physique that's portrayed in American media. It's messing up the minds of the less intelligent types who take these images for granted.

Similar unrealistic media images abound in the USA for what women are "supposed" to look like if they are "fit."

We can Solis a "Fatty" is he weighs 268 lbs, as he did last night. But when Solis is between 240 lbs to 250 lbs, he's normal for a guy of his size and physique.

It was an injury and you know it. If you need to rewrite history to make Vitali look good ("Destroyed" Lewis, "Knocked Out" Solis) he probably isn't all that good to begin with.

Solis could easily be a top heavyweight if he dedicates himself to trimming weight and training frequently.

Yeah - even he got in shape, he just doesn't have the whiskers to be competitive at the top level.:-(

Solis wasted his potential with lack of dedication..

I always wanted to see Haye Solis rematch at pro.

Their first fight was so good at ams.

The knee injury took Solis out of the fight, but it didn't put him down in round 1. Solis was dropped by a punch to the temple. You can't argue with the facts.

Solis has no business being a professional boxer and over 240lbs. Ideally he'd be 220lbs or less. The man is only 6'1.

Yeah as a shorter guy fighting taller lads, he'd have to work on getting in and out, and weighing in at a optimal weight would be key for a 12 round bout. 253 is okay when he's fighting the Mamukas of the world but not the Klitchkos.
