I personally perfer fighters to win the Lonsdale Belt outright. As thats more important then european and commonwealth to MOST British fighters. Lets not rush him he has all the skill he needs more rounds and different style of opponents.

Skelton, Adams/Harrison and Rogan is a chance to win his British title out right and then maybe look for Pulev, Helunis or Haye/Chisora winner before stepping up to Adamek and maybe Mitchell for title decider.

In no doubt does he have the capabilities to beat any Heavyweight but we are yet to see him tested to be honest so He would of the british fights which would mean 3 fights try and get them all within 8 months and then move up

Perez would be a big name but a risk also.
Fair balls to him if he takes it though!

Who next? Fury. That is all.

If not Fury maybe a Dimitrenko? Ustinov? Relatively talented boxers that would challenge Price's skill set and chin.. Thoughts?

He needs to fight somone in the high ranking europeans list to get a shot at becoming EU champion. I would like to hold him back until the Klits are retired as after that he is left with an easy route to becoming world champion.

Chagaev/Dimitrenko would probably be my preference. There is zero point in him staying at British level. Sexton is one of the better contenders out there and he got wiped out. The only progressive option is to step-up to European/fringe World level.

I thought that was an excellent performance from Price. Sexton lacked much ambition, but Price showed maturity and poise in putting a finish together.

Don't think Sexton could have done much different. John Mcdermott tried to bum-rush him and look what happened.

Finding him the right fights isn't too easy though! Like everyone else, would like to see him out more than once every six months. British level, it's hard to see many fighters that could pose a challenge and give him any rounds. Because he fought some real cans for so long, rather than against durable-journeymen like Zack page, he didn't get them in then.

Chisora would be one who could maybe handle his power, someone like Kevin Johnson maybe...

Other interesting fights with styles i'd like to see him up against would have been Dimitrenko (retired?) and Helenius (out long-term?).

Yeah, both unbeaten prospects, who have yet to be tested, surely they would both impose there skill sets and really test each other.

I'd favor Price, Perez is too lazy and from what I've heard, lacks the dedication to reach his potential.

I can't believe people are suggesting Rogan and Skelton as possible opponents. Talk about a massive step back, the guy is 28 if he wastes his prime by mucking around with those has-beens he's a ****ing idiot. The first year under Maloney was a waste, Hayemaker pretty much went under and he lost 6 months or so because of that so he needs to get a move on.

Yup seemed like a picture perfect performance, very good movement and variety of punches. To me that 1st knock down in rd 3 was more down too Price`s double stiff jab. Lots say hes got a bad defence, i couldnt fault him in that department, as soon as Sexton tried to attack Prices gloves were up.

I`d like Price to go to America and get some exposure next, plus theres rumour he wants to fight on the khan undercard. Ohwell we`ll see soon enough
