I dont think it was the punch, there was nothing behind it..
I think rushing in too quickly after changing direction with a bad knee caused it to blow out.

Well anyone with a keen eye can see Solis is one of the more talented Heavies in a fairly weak division.

But think of it this way. So far Solis has gotten good wins over competitive opponents, On not just his B game ..But his C or probably even D game!
He's not even had to use half of his potential and he has a winning record that most Fighters would sacrifice anything to have.

Even after doing all the wrong things. He gets by, on pure talent an skill.

this video tells a lot more, haye hasnt weighted more than 220 in his career while solis hasnt been below 240... two prospects one had more talent than the other but couldnt stay in shape and the one with less talent dedicated himself to make a lot more from his talents

Crazy thing is Solis went on to dominate amateur boxing another 6 years, and that as far as Haye went as an amateur.

Yes the punch cuffed the top of his head, And?

There was no leverage behind the punch to cause the knockdown, even Vitali knew that, which is why he reacted soo angrily because he thought Solis threw the fight.

As it turns out we found out, Solis had pre-injured his knee before the Match

I think it was a combination of reacting to the punch an rushing in too fast that blew the Knee out completley

It had to be Spadafora ... :-(

I am sick and tired of you always putting down Cuban fighters saying they don't have chins, specially Solis.

For your information, Solis went 3 fights against Felix Savon who was considered p4p the hardest HV hitter in the amateurs. Savon knocked guys out ( with head gear ) with one punch, that's it. Savon fought Solis 3 times and Solis beat him TWICE. If that's not having a solid chin then nothing is.

Solis also got rocked hard by a Haye uppercut and got dazzed but recuperated well. Stop the hating man, all you do is attack the Cuban fighters. I would just love to see you in there against Solis or the other Cubans... :nut
