When will David Price's glass jaw get shattered again?

it seems like every time a fighter emerges as the real deal, vultures creep out of the woodwork and start picking at the fighter in an effort to discredit and devalue him.

    Nono your right

If the ref thinks your getting your ass handed to you and are failing to land anything it's stopped

He landed barely anything and got hurt... fair stoppage actually.

No shame in that man Cammarelle can bang and is a legit fighter he would make a damn good Pro. I think he is content on being a Police Officer in Italy. That is not an embarrassing loss Price landed a few right hands flush that were not scored for some reason.......

    :good

Wlad is on good way to be great hw champion after he retires. Just like Lennox Lewis. Both had weak chins(known as Glass Jaws at ESB) to take big punch but it did not stop them to be great.

I think the OP made this in bad spirit but there's nothing wrong with applying a bit of balance. There are people here saying Price is the next Wlad or Lewis. This is just as bad as people over emphasising a promising fighter's flaws like the OP did.

The amateurs are so different to the pros that I'm not sure how much you can look into these fights. When Tua turned pro and was a prospect, I bet people doubted his chin because he was stopped as an amateur.

We'll have to see what happens with Price. He's a good enough boxer to get past a bad chin though.

I disagree. reaching into his amateur archives in an attempt to diminish him and cast doubt on his future is unnecessary. there's nothing "bad" about seeing potential greatness in a fighter.

There's nothing wrong with it whatsoever. It's no more unnecessary than using amateur footage to show why a fighter will do well. We're perfectly entitled to analyse fighters. The OP was just a **** in the way he went about it.

I didn't mean bad in the literal sense. "Silly" would be more apt. And it is just as silly.

Of course Cammarelle destroyed him. Prime fighter vrs. baby-faced victim.

David Price has shown himself to have serious potential, and that's it. he's developed into a good fighter, and coupled with his size, it's plausible to say he looks to be able to one day succeed at the top level. whoever's saying he's the next lennox lewis is being a bit premature, but it's much more understandable for someone to come to a conclusion like that, versus looking only to discredit him.
