Geez you're full of **** - you don't know what I listen to, ya guppyheaded clown. Sutton's over-rated - he shouldn't be holding down a first grade spot with the way he's been playing, especially yesterday's game. I base that on what I see with my own eyes, not what the media says. :yep Yep, him and Maitua, punching cones down at the 'bra
A "guppyheaded clown" :huh You're a kid arent you? I've been arguing with a kid or a manchild & i'm a bit sick of you stalking me, i'm starting to worry for myself & family, i may have to take out a AVO
Do you ever actually have anything worthwhile to say or is your agenda just to be as obnoxious as possible in the hope someone engages in conversation with you? You haven't a clue if you think Sutton is a first grade 5/8th. Where are all your local juniors when it comes to replacing Sutton? Anyway, we'll see who's stalking who with your next reply, guppyhead :yep
Guppy head again?? Your just strange mental Why would we want to replace Sutton? It was only last year he was being talked up for origin, the only criticism has been that he can be a little lazy, or gets distracted, which definitely hasn't been the case this year, like I said, you're just harping on about last years headlines ad verbatim Without thinking for yourself Now stop stalking me you weird north shore freak
Sorry guppyhead, fail to see how I'm stalking you when the conversation went as follows: :nono As per usual you stuck your dumb guppyhead in and tried to make a mountain out of a molehill :yep Check yourself next time you start trying to act a smart **** - you're only halfway there mate
Sutton just isnt a 5/8. Too slow to read opportunities, and just doesnt quite have the kicking game. But theres really not much else we can go with for now. I reckon he will endf up in the back row at some stage though more than likely next season. Defensively, he is the best 5/8 in the comp, though thats because he's a natural lock. One of Sutton's best skills was his ability to get a miraculous pass or flick away while seemingly being wrapped up. He got away with it a lot at lock, but as 5/8 they just smother him too quickly and he mentally has brain farts all too often when put in this position at 5/8. Reynolds had a fantastic game yesterday, and is getting more and more experienced. In time I think you'll see Keary at 5/8 and Reynolds at halfback with Sutton at lock.
So called good judges have been saying that for years & year after year hes at 5/8th Even if he does move next year or the year after, with Keary coming through its a good chance, he'll have still spent the best part of a decade at 5/8th, with at least 3 or 4 of those years continously being feited as a SOO player etc, not bad for a player who is supposedly not that good
And year after year we havent made the finals, while year after year the SOO selectors have proven to totally balls up the team. He does get a bit harshly criticised, and when he isnt there we seem to fall apart like we did at the back end of 2010, but he just isnt a 5/8 nor have the required tools to be one. GI has chimed in in the 5/8 role at times this year and has looked good. Sutton just doesnt have the speed between the ears to capitalize on opportunities. People say we need to buy another forward but I disagree. When the Burgess boys were out, Geddes, Starling and co chipped in and played alright. They'll only get better with age and when you throw in Tom Burgess (who should be primed for first next year) and Teo, I think you have the forward department fully covered even more so when Sutton goes to lock. I hope the club buys an experienced, not neccessarily spectacular 5/8 and bloods Keary there throughout the year. hunt's a 5/8 as well, I guess McGuire doesnt want to blood these new kids in critical positions too early in their careers.
John, Get off the forums mate. Go for a surf or get ya arse to Redfern oval for some training, God knows you need it. :good And who has ever "Feited" him as an Origin player?? **** me we already lost 6 in a row,
I have been watching Vidot play since he was 18 and for the past 5 years I have been shocked that he keeps getting a NRL spot. 2 years back there was an article in the paper that talked about him being a Maroon :rofl I saw him get into space one game and Cooper Cronk ran him down from 15 mtrs away and that was when he was 10 kgs lighter than what he is now There is a player up here on the Coast who is about to ask for a contract renewal to get paid his dues or he will ask for a release
People keep saying he's not a 5/8th like there is some kind of definitive 5/8th, they come in all sorts of roles depending on how a team plays, at the moment he fits pretty well into what Souths are doing You bascially just have two halfbacks now, either side of the ruck, feeding a centre & a wide running second rower like Taylor, you'll have one of those halves a bigger more robust player who can defend well, like a second lock anyway & a decent kicker, because imagine the defensive deficiencies we would have last year trying to hide Sandow & a similar sized half like Reynolds, thats where Sutton excells
