I like how (probably) they just assumed that south americans aren´t latinos :patsch .......no Monzon, no Jofre, no Locche, no Cervantes....:conf
How about Efren Torres and Sugar Ramos over all these names ? Simply insane !
Duran below Lopez and Sugar Ramos !!!!

More alarmed by Efren Torres>Arguello

Love Ruben too much to hold it against him, I've had way too much enjoyment from his fights to pass serious comment :D

No Salvador Sanchez and Miguel Canto either.
I think i know why these two are omitted..maybe it's "unMexican" to be scientific and clever like these two were known for being..

Ruben Olivares..God Bless him...he has a right to rank himself first, lol, but why dosen't he consider South Americans Latinos? Sounds troubling to say the least..and a bit insane.

And all the great south american guys were greats in Ruben´s era, when Ruben was fighting.....I´m almost sure that he knows pretty well all them....:conf

They (Ruben and Gene Aguilera, as the book says this guy Aguilera is a historian) don´t specify a criteria to the list......but they said that in the list :

from the ultimate book of boxing lists.

Well anyway, I thought would be intersting to post  they beat Al Bernstein and Thomas Hearns lists lol

No Carlos Monzon? I find that odd...

I also find it strange that Duran is only 5th on the list.

I think I remember some olden maps that showed "Latin America" to be more of Central America, plus the Caribbean countries, and South America to be a separate area.
