Kessler - Bute promoter gets together ?

I'd prefer to see Bute against a slick black fighter. I hope Ward vs Bute will get it done this year but yes,indeed, a fight with Kessler would be great too , the biggest draws from smw going to war. They should choose a neutral place , of course.:yep

P.S Now, I think Kessler is out of his prime , not at his greatness but he's still a competitive fighter.

If Ward fights Dawson in September then he isn't available until early 2013 anyway.

For Bute-Kessler to happen, Bute has to beat Froch decisively and then they have to agree on who's to have homefield which won't be easy given the size of both mens fanbase.

Forget neutral location. That is the same as throwing money out the window.

So there's ways to go, but at least they are talking.

I fully understand that you are scared about the prospect of your favorite fighter facing the most powerful supermiddleweight the world has ever seen, but since Interbox was present in Parken on saturday it looks likely that they mean business this time around.

I'm a huge Kessler fan aswell.. But he ain't superman.. Bute is not half bad himself..

 

In terms of wise business match this fight is great and a good alternative at Bute vs Ward fight in case that Ward will fight with Dawson but the real fight that boxing fans want to see it , is Ward vs Bute. So I hope Ward's team is still waiting Bute vs Froch fight outcome and then take a decision.:deal


In Green fight , Kessler showed a lot of flaws and vulnerabilities . A good counter puncher with speed and good footwoork would outwork Kessler all night long , doubtless.

 

Froch-Bute, talks for Kessler-Bute..great stuff..but where the hell has Andre Ward disappeared off to? Talk about resting on your laurels, people will forget he is the super-six winner if Bute wins both those fights

 

We can't evaluate the fight on Green's 30 secs of succes..

You're funny. Im glad Kessler made his return in a positive way. He;s been one of my favorite fighters and i hope he can be again what he used to but i doubt it tbh. The fight against Green didnt say anything. Kessler didnt look that good in my opinion.

Its not a bad news for Bute cause he wont be the one that will have to deal with all the bs from Kessler's camp. If the fight will happen Bute's gonna be Hulk like. Come in the ring, smash Kessler and leave .

 

I understand your enthusiasm , but stop being so delirante . You seem to forgot the "1 danish krone offer" excuse.

 

I hope they get it on a Madison Square Garden or in Vegas. But might not be easy to put together economically because both are so huge draws in their respective countries. However, it is preferential to not getting the fight at all - and promoters have been creative before as in AA vs froch being in Finland.

Having said that... getting past Froch will be hard enough for Bute.
