took his foot off the gas against Margo, looked like a sparing session against Mosley and looked uninspired against JMM.. and recently he's been quoted as saying he doesn't want to hurt other fighters anymore and his faith says boxing is wrong.. now i favor Manny over Bradley by far, but tim is a tough, good, young fighter who could look better against an unfocused Pac than is expected...so has the tiger been De-toothed a bit?
He's scared of Mayweather, deal with it. But yeah he's gone soft over the years. Still, May would tap that ass all night.
IT certainly looks so. Hes also not as relentless as he once was. And looked bored in his last couple of fights. If he struggles against a guy like Bradley. Then maybe its time to call it a day. In boxing your either 100% committed to the sport. Or your better of doing something else.
As a PACSMASH fan, I really do think he has lost his killer instinct. . . At least some of it. . . He's got too much humanity now - compassion, and empathy. . . After the Hatton, and Cotto fights, he realized he literally has the power with his fists to kill people. . And how badly he can hurt people. . . He could have killed Margarito if he wanted; literally, he could have. . . Probably Cotto too. . . I think after the Marquez fight (or at least Im hoping), he realized that he needs it to be the best boxer he can be. . . He knows if he wants to make his people, and his fans proud, he needs it back. . No way he will allow himself to lose to Bradley - unless Bradley KO's him! This content is protected
Maybe. Who knows. Hard to say at the moment. The main reason why he's looked toothless in recent fights is because his opponents have been too defensive for his liking. And if anyone's hoping to see the return of that killer instinct against Bradley, don't go holding your breath.
well yea, Clottey and shane, but dude this is the HURT BUSINESS...u wanna been a priest, go ahead and retire.
In the Cotto fight he kept on that ass and never stopped coming forward looking for the finish, all the way to the 12th and final round. I haven't seen that crazy look in his eyes since. Bradley will not give Pacquiao the same respect and let off the gas so Pacquiao better be ready to throw down.
this... This content is protected and to the thread question yes, he lost his fire ever since he became a politician.
I think he just hasnt been able to stop them. Against Margarito people say he stopped but i think he stopped when he realize he wasnt' gonna be able to stop him, Margarito was just too big to be ko'd and the ref wasn't gonna stop the match. Against Mosley he lacked the skills to cut of the ring and Marquez well for 3 fights they have been neck and neck
