Did Haye used to school Price in sparring?

At this stage I think Haye wins quite easily. He'd be able to time a right hand over the top of that jab and that's all she wrote.

Even against Sexton, Price's defence heavily relied on covering up when his man got close. A strong heavyweight will still be able to penetrate that guard and hurt him (see Seth Mitchell getting wobbled in the exact same way in his last fight). I think he needs to work on his footwork in the same way Wlad has - the way Wlad uses his feet to back up out of range faster than his opponent can get after him is perfect for a fighter with his height and reach. He rarely has to cover up because he is so effective at getting out of range.

Chisora DEFINITELY bashed Price up quite badly in sparring in February.

So much so that Don Charles predicted a Sexton win on the weekend.

Chisora was sparring in preparation for Vitali and Price in preparation for McDermott.

The visual evidence was there to see on the Ringside prior to Price's fight where he talked about sparring Chisora. He had 1 VERY solid black eye not being very well concealed by the very good Sky make up team.

Thats an absolutely prime example of a "in sparring" story....it has everything, a mate, a mismatch and an unlikely KO :thumbsup

Haye is fast, I'm not a fan but give him credit. He can punch a guy four or five times in less in a second. A lumbering giant like Price isn't going to cope easily.

He also said when Haye went down he went to follow up with a right hand and missed hit the canvas and broke his own hand. I know it seems far fetched but it has come from his own mouth.
