Last time Bute faced that kind of power, he ended the fight splattered on the canvas.

If you watched longer than the 2:45 mark you would have witnessed the awesomeness of the most powerfull supermiddleweight the world has ever seen.

From what I understand is that while Showtime was offering 2mil for Bute and Interbox guaranteeing nearly 6mil for a Bute Kessler fight at 55/45, Kessler stood to make nearly 3.5 mil overall. Kessler balked and Interbox asked for a counter from Suaerland in Denmark. There was no such counter.

Now, Suaerland and Interbox are agreeing that whichever team comes up with the biggest $$$$, that promoter will get the fight. Obviously, Interbox in Montreal, Kessler in Copenhagen.

Although I think we all know that for the fight to be held in Copenhagen Bute would demand a 60/40, maybe even 65/35 split.:think

Are you beating an old horse or am I misunderstanding something?

If you are indeed beating the old horse, I politely ask you for a source for those astronomical figures.

Indeed beating an old horse with the Interbox offer, but in that article posted by the OP Bedard CLEARLY says that if Sauerland can produce similar $$$ and they can get Showtime on board, that Bute will fight in Denmark.:think

Prove Interbox lowballed Sauerland by using statements from both parties, or bow in defeat. Earth and Water.
