If that's the case James Toney should be cleared since that's the same steriod found in his urine after beating the **** out of John Ruiz for the WBA HW title. Hopefully we can save the fight regardless.

Wrong and I will tell you why, the commission and the WBA was willing to accept a Doctor if he would provide a letter and explain what kind of treatment Toney received under his care.

if it added up they would have not over turned the result, and he would have remained the WBA Champion.

The only problem is Toney flat out lied, his Dr never prescribed him squat which is why he could not produce a letter from the Dr cus the Dr wasnt going to lie on his behalf

Hmm...Never saw that story. I only saw the story about the doc who treated James for his injured bicep preceding his fight with John who prescribed the steriod that was found in his system. The Doc confirmed that James was given the roid as a way to speed up recovery time from his torn bicep.

Do you have a link to that story where the WBA requested a letter from the Doc?

There is no link, I was at Wildcard when this whole thing went down, he had an injury yes but the Dr did not prescribe him steroids or anything that he tested positive for

Before the fight we knew something was up, he was sparring with Terry Smith and somehow Smith ended up either knocked down or he fell down suddenly what happened from there Toney started to kick him while he was down

Fortune immediately knew what was up, and after he tested positive it was no secret in the gym. I asked Fortune what the deal was how they were going to rule etc...

and thats the explanation I got from him.....

ask yourself this, why hasnt Toney ever provided proof that he was taking this for medical purposes?

The Dr never made any statement that he gave Toney anything to speed up his recovery... Toney told that story but never once did you see a Drs letter or any statement

Still not buying my tickets. The Matthysse/Soto bout is a good one and it is still scheduled, but with only two undercards I'm not sure if it is worth the drive up to Staples.

Once the official announcement is made, I'll break out the Visa.

Whatever... the fight should continue, Ortiz dropped and Owned Berto who was probably juiced up in Part 1, Ortiz is immune to steroid cheats...
