I actually read that Toney's Doc did confirm that he issued the steriod to Toney in order to help speed up his recovery time. It went in depth regarding how common this steriod was for athletes to use in order to help them heal and get back to training. I'll see if I can find that link....that's an interesting story about ****** and Toney.

Still looking for the one where his Doc stated what he prescribed and when.....it's been a long time but I know it's out there.

 

His Dr didnt say anything, did not put it in writing like I said the commission and the WBA requested his Dr to write a letter to clear him that never happened.

 

Ron Scott Stevens was they NYSAC commissioner at the time and even he said that James did in fact provide documentation from his own physician and one from an independent physician regarding James' positive test results and the reason behind prescribing that particular steriod to him.

I don't believe Berto is a juicer, if he was, he wouldn't gas after 5 rounds.

All the steroids in the world couldn't help his boxing skill thats the reason he gasses ..He loves to load up on punches ..

 

My question is what's the hold up on him being cleared to fight? If this is true, why isn't this being expressed on a grander level, and why are Ortiz and camp moving ahead as if this news isn't relevent?

 

His Dr never made a single statement there, that was Goosen telling his version of the story. No where in that article or any other will you find Toneys Dr stepping up and backing his story.

You have two people talking Goosen and Toneys attorney no Dr statement at all there.

That's actually not the article I read where Toney's Doc confirmed his story...that's just one of a few that I've found which corroborates James's story.

 

I highly doubt this fight still happens. At least not on the original date.
There are too many questions and both teams probably need to re-focus on a proper camp again.
There's also a whole lot team Berto would need to answer to before GBP moves forward with any deal. Berto said he was taking "other" supplements along with conte's?
