My whole thing is this....if Berto is going to get off using the same excuse James did, years prior then we would have to be fair to James who lost his title with traces of the same steriod Berto was found with.

I don't think James Doc did lie or would lie....I don't think Toney's attorney would provide the NYSAC with false documentation/affidavit forging a physicians signature.

The commission wouldn't overturn a fight if the fighter tested dirty...no matter what excuse. Berto will soon find that out. The commission strictly enforces that a fighter is solely responsible for any illegal substance that he positively tests for.

To be honest...I believed James up until he tested dirty again in the Batchler fight. I'm very familiar with the steriod James and Berto tested positive for and their stories are believable.....but at the end of the day the rules are the rules and a mistake was made in both cases.

 

Toney has been caught again give it up already yes Toney skilled fighter but he is a steroid abuser

 

Berto was just an idiot for taking a supplement that wasn't reputable. That's always a danger with supplements, countless athletes have unintentionally ingested banned substances this way. You might think it's an excuse but it happens, I always believed Berto wasn't trying to cheat. He's an overrated fighter and obviously not that bright but he's not a cheat.

 

I said I "believed" James up until it happened again.....I just can't bring myself to believe Berto considering he too had a torn bicep which sometimes happens with steroid abusers.

 

I doupt any excuse is going to get him off
