i remember id just rock up on the night and see who was there.
and no novices have a special card they have to hand in if theyve had less than five fights.

Couple weeks normally, but in my personal experience, the opponent has changed the day before twice, and on the actual day over 10 times.

If you're a primma dona, it bothers you... Lots of my old team mates used to want to pull out, but who cares if you've had roughly the same amount of fights and are the same weight? Its not like you have training camps and hire southpaw sparring partners etc...

in nsw you arent supposed to be pre matched. they were the rules. i dont know if they changed.

we just turned up and looked at the board. my 1st fight i fought a bloke that had 2 fights. in my second fight my opponent had 9 fights. 3rd fight was even. 4th fight had 10.

5th fight he'd had over a hundred, and i copped a pasting. only fight i ever had that i was glad when it was over. all the other fights i spent catching up.

3 rounds arent great for a short am...

Its a bit of fun mate. You'll enjoy it. My mate just had his 3rd am fight at 42, I had mine at 28, 33 is perfect.
