who u got in this. both r on the 5th july kiwi card but fighting other fighters. i think they should face each other though.
solo would be competitive against many of the top 20 fighters, but he just doesn't seem to go after the fights. he should be forgetting about the price, and just fight some of them. he strikes me as the sort of guy who needs to fight the top crop to bring the best out of him. he might not win, but it would benefit him heaps.
if chauncy is too chicken to face haumono, i'd love to see the look on his face if he got a call to fight one of the klits, lol. ( yes i know it ain't gunna happen ) leapai and solo should try and get on a decent card in the states against credible opponents to get some air time. might have to accept a small payday, but a good performance would surely lead to some decent $$$$$ fights. would help with training etc. if they both go together.
Looks like Seth Mitchell has Jonathon Banks next. Can't see Mitchell v Chauncy Welliver ever coming off to be honest. If it did the smart money would be on Mitchell, and by stoppage.
Ahh crap - Welliver fights Sherman Williams in China in June - Yawn! I very much doubt he will be fighting in NZ a week later. Williams, although tough, has never beaten a serious contender. I saw his fight with Holyfeild and although it was competitive - Holy was O-L-D. Best thing on his resume is his draw with JAmeel Mccline 12 years ago! Seems we will have to wait longer before we see Welliver in with another live one.
i thought welliver was fighting in china or against some US fighter for big money etc? he said he wouldnt fight on this card, he couldnt fight alex on this card either.... i'll find the link. **** hes a coward.:-(
