Gamboa wins with ease unless Broner can crack that chin...

You are the one who's delusional to think that your idol JMM was the winner of the fight.. You judge a fight round per round and not as a whole.. And you judge it in four categories..

    1. Effective Aggression.. Who was the aggressor? Was he effective? You are the biggest fool to think JMM wins this category in most rounds.. He was clearly trying to not get knocked down, that's why he constantly moves backward.. He forgot that he was the challenger and he was supposed to bring the fight to Manny..

    2. Defense.. JMM landed his best shots at Manny's guard.. Just gloves, arms, and elbows.. Was his body punching clean? No it wasn't.. :nono

    3. Ring generalship.. Who controls the tempo of the fight? Manny was the one who engages and counters if he wants to.. JMM stopped most of his attacks because he was getting tagged by the right hand counter of Pac almost all the time.. And I can't remember something significant about JMM except those moving backwards move.. You think if you move backwards, you win fights? :patsch

    4. Clean and Hard punching..

Now if you think Manny did not connect clean.. You must see this..

    :deal

Watch it again so you won't sound like a pathetic fan crying for his favorite boxer to win.. :bart

Broner was definitely landing cleaner shots..

Ponce was landing his punches on Broner's guard.. :deal You think if you land punches at your opponent's guard, judges will give points to you? You have problems on how you perceive things..  :rofl

Or maybe you do it intentionally, like when Broner lands clean on Ponce or Pac lands clean on JMM, you kept thinking about "that did not happened" and when Ponce lands something on Broner's guard and the same about Pac on JMM, you think about "it's a clean shot".. Eventually, you convinced yourself.. How pathetic..

Gamboa takes it. Broner is still developing in my opinion.

Broner had a very difficult time against Ponce De Leon, who controled most of that fight and was landing nice body shots on Broner. Broner was only throwing one shot at a time not even trying to put punches together.

Gamboa performed a lot better against Ponce, but still had his rough moments. Gamboa has just been against better competition. It would make for a good fight.

In terms of speed, I would say that Gamboa has the advantage but not too much.. Broner would use his jabs and right straights effectively.. I remember Gamboa had problems about the left jabs of Solis with at least 1 or 2 rounds.. And that jab wasn't fast, and wasn't powerful..

Gamboa also becomes tentative against fighters that would counter punch.. Look back at his fight with Ponce.. Ponce was trying to counter, too bad he can't because he isn't the type of boxer to execute that kind of game-plan..

Although Gamboa won both fights convincingly, I just thought that his weaknesses was exposed.. You just need the right boxer to execute the right game-plan..

Now you put Broner there with better out-boxing game, definitely more power and accurate counter-punching combined with feints.. Plus the fast feet to keep Gamboa on a distance and the defense in case Gamboa comes close (most of the time Gamboa will)..

And you add there, does Gamboa has a solid chin to withstand Broner's counter punch?

I think, Broner wins.. Either by UD or KO.. :smoke

I agree a great counter puncher with speed and good feet to maintain distance would be dangerous for Gamboa. Broner does have the potential to be that fighter, that's why I said he's still developing, because I don't think he's that fighter just yet.

Broner waits too long for his oppertunities and still doesn't look comfortable putting shots together. He will be overwhelmed by Gamboa's speed and fast feet.

But who knows with the long lay off The Cuban has been going through he might be gathering rust.

And Gamboa is actually on Mayweather's camp.. Maybe he has ideas now on how to crack that shell, or maybe he's got a way to beat it..

That's bad for Broner because there's only few active fighters with similar styles like Gamboa exists.. :think In fact, I can't even think of one.. :patsch

Maybe he should try to join the Pacquioa camp in case this fight happens.. :yep Maybe they would appear as an under card fight for:

    MAYWEATHER-PACQUIOA pound for pound showdown..

That would be great.. :happy :happy:happy
