I really dont know what happened to Bat. Must be that KO of Kessler... But come on, it was Allan Green.

    Not quite.

If a "nearly killed" fighter (according to your terminology) has been able to stand up free from the ropes 8 seconds after the last opponent's blow, what appropriate word choice would you pick for (say) Allan Green in Saturday fight (who needed some medical staff in order to recover)?! I don't mention here what happened to Berrio in his Bute fight, one should find some nice wording accurately depicting also his case.

It is not the referee who kept Bute out of Andrade's punching range up to the dying seconds of the match, nor has he helped Bute up from the ropes 8 seconds after being finally KD-ed. That was all Bute in full emergency mode.

I think froch will help highlight some of bute's weakness's and really show what bute is made of and with that information ward will get a game plan which will beat them bum/pub fighter lucian in complete domination.

Bute was out on his feet. He was on ***** street. See Ike Williams - Beau Jack for reference.

Oh stop. Jack was still on his feet and the round wasn't close to being over at the time of the stoppage.

It just shows that a fighter doesnt have to be down to justify a stoppage.

When the champion gets knocked down, and beats the count, and the fight is over, the fight doesn't need to be stopped.

When Williams is standing over Beau Jack pounding him relentlessly with 2 minutes left in the round, a stoppage is justified.

It was a very dangerous situation. Most referees outside of Canada would have stopped it.

I doubt it. Bute was able to beat the 10 count and the bell rang, fight was over.

It was similar to Chavez/Taylor, end of the fight knockdown. Except people felt that Steele was in the wrong in stopping it.

Wright did the right thing :good

Steele made the appropriate decision. Most people agree on that. I see where you are coming from now. I can understand your position on Bute now since you Think Steele did wrong. I just happen to disagree.

    Peace.

I think Froch was very motivated against Ward but Ward was just too good for him that's all. Froch tried to come in as strong as possible and packed too much muscle IMO. It did slow him down a bit and considering that he is not the fastest bloke let's say it was not a good thing. I think it will be a hell of a fight!! Not sure who will come out on top though. Logical pick would be Bute by decision but I will root for Froch who is a very tough warrior!

true,Bute isn't challenging himself.he did challenge Ward though.by the way,you seem to follow Ward closely, can you tell me why is he working with Victor Conte?and will he go for a second professional ko in the next years?one ko in 25 fights is kinda low isn't it?

again, brilliant.you are absolutely right,Ward doesn't have the balls to fight an undefeated fighter because he need a blueprint on how to beat somebody, all that talk about how he adapts is bull****,we all seen how he adapted with the likes of Green or Bika

:rofl you trying to suggest ward is doping. He had a USADA drug test vs froch.

ward is better than when he fought green and bika. He improves in every fight.
