Victor Ortiz-Josesito Lopez? Hats off to everybody involved. Ortiz-Lopez is a good fight, and with the circumstances are such that it is a terrific replacement bout. As far as I'm concerned, Lopez may as well be an undefeated fighter. All his losses (besides the fight he lost in like his 3rd fight which I don't think anybody saw, besides the 30 odd people in that arena) are all controversial. Lopez was definitely jibbed against Wes Ferguson, and a very fun fight versus Edgar Santana, but he should have won that as well. With the knockdowns being the difference. His most recent fight with Jesse Vargas, I won't call it a robbery BUT I think we all know the score. Most everybody had Lopez winning, but with him having a couple of losses, Vargas being undefeated, yada, yada, yada, I won't say it was a robbery, but again, we know the score. P4P Lopez is the better boxer, by far, it's not even close. But, this fight isn't being fought in a P4P sense. Ortiz will have a massive size advantage and that might be enough. We'll see though, Lopez is a very live underdog. If Ortiz can't hurt Lopez, or impose his strength. Watch out.
