is this arum's stance should floyd fight pac? just issue a fine on pedquiao for cheating? permanent damage can't be taken back by fines.

yea saw that too.. should change the title tho since it insinuates he's just reprimanding him but in reality he was championing a "slap of the wrist" as punishment and said the fight should go on

arum really has no business defending lamont but he's promoted him and his brother for years and maybe he felt obligated.

Peterson should be banned. I'm guessing something like 1 year, same time Vargas was suspended after he tested positive. Ideally it would be something closer to 2 years or more, that would be a real punishment

Yeah sure... if in boxing the penalties for cheating weren't way too low already, we should let him off with a fine

    Arum is a f#cking tool!

could've have happend, then again he's w/ Conte & it's hard to believe a guy who tests positive for a PED under a former PED supplier and such a shrewd expert who'd have plausible contingencies incase his fighter got caught. Conte claims it was a supplement not given by him, of course he would. Berto goes to him for supplements, and it's someone else's supplements he tests positive for. Makes sense. Has anyone discounted the possibility the trace amounts could've been from Berto using last year before Zaveck?

If Berto 'accidentily' put steroids in his body, he still has to take responsibility like you said. You have to go hard on him because of all the ferver regarding PEDs today, especially with the baseless crap his stablemate under Haymon has put on Pacquiao. Year round OSDT for the rest of his career is the best way to make sure he knows exactly what he's putting in his body, and also covers the possibility that he was cheating acting as the ultimate deterrent for him ever trying it again. This should have happened with Mosley after he was accused and admitted to doping, he would've been busted vs Collazo and Margarito

"I think in boxing, everything exists for a good, fair fight to happen. And that should be the primary determination and everything should blow from that."

THIS came out of the mouth of Bob Arum?
