    Good fighter is Rocky.

Buncey (I think?) hit the nail on the head when he said on Fri that Rocky had great balance and poise. Spot on, Steve.

There were times when he was falling backwards when under pressure from his opponent, and he was throwing lovely shots on the backfoot. The average fighter would be struggling to keep their balance let alone throw back.

Got a great following as well.

Rocky is a pretty good prospect, I was impressed with him in Prizefighter, he needs to leave Frank though, his 4 fights under him have been against Journeymen!

He's got a good chance of winning a British title in the next few years.

Hello mate. Not the worst place to be plugging me trade - just hate missing out on the big fights back home. Looked boss at the racecourse for Pricey's gig.

    I dunno.

Apparently he turned down a fight against the other prospect, Luke Blackledge.

If so, that tells me he's happy biding his time, practising what he's learning in the gym. Don't think his team want to rush him.

I think Rocky could win a british title but he hasn't got a lot of power, he also doesn't seem to be that 'clever', I don't know whether this will effect his progress further on in his career.

I still think Rocky throws some of his shots like he was doing in the amateurs. I think with age and experience, he'll develop more power.

He stopped all his oppos in prizefighter. He can dig when he needs to.

Cheers for the info mate, I didn't know that, Blackledge is a decent prospect as well, and isn't Luke a LHW?

Fielding should be at least fighting for an English title.

**** man. Get him at the Olympia for a couple of fights. Get him making more appearances at Anfield. Get him in the Echo and on the radio.

Then I could see him doing big numbers at the Echo Arena.

He's still a novice, at only 24 he has plenty of time to improve in the gym.

Yeah he's down on Boxrec as one. Must be able to get down to SMW.

He's also down as fighting Mads Larsen now. Interesting fight for the kid.

Re Rocky. I'm guessing the Blackledge fight would have led to some sort of title or eliminator, hence turning it down. He's defo ready for the English though imo.

*this is all under the assumption that Rocky's team did turn the fight down.

No need to rush really remember he was a 3 fight novice when he won prizefighter so his record is actually a bit deceiving. Probably needs 18 months of fights slowly upping the opposition to English title level. No rush and i think he has loads of potential but alos has plenty to learn.
