the guy is exciting to watch I dont mind saying I travel back to lpool just to watch him, he brings everything into the game , what a star, and unlike some others he does have time for the run of the mill fightfans ( me included) when it comes to answering a email etc . Were lucky he comes on here and he doesnt get bitter when challenged through this site like others .
Tony Bellew is a good all round "onion"

totally agree - couldnt beat cleverly who is regarded mostly as rubbish - after the fight he wasnt too convinced he won and was saying he was beaten - then a few days after that fight starts claiming he won and wants a rematch

the only chance of a rematch would be to stay with frank but hes trying to leave - is he running scared from cleverly

in another thread people were saying bellew should take his time fight a few domestically or european level - how long is he gonna take to do this coz hes around 30 and doesnt fight that regularly

the way bellew carries on with himself you would think he was best in the world

    Listen.

Bomber went through a sticky period when fighting against Ajisafe and McKenzie. Poor performances (not in the second OM fight, thought he did the job he needed to) but he learnt a shitload from them.

The whole furore about Bomber recently is how much he's improved under his amateur coaches. He's using the jab beautifully; picking his shots correctly instead of telegraphing them big rights; and he's shown he can think and box when he needs to.

Who expected him to perform like he did in the Clev fight? No one. He was written off from the start. He went out there and outboxed Clev. I had him two up going into the 11th, with only his engine letting him down in the end.

We all expected a good performance against McIntosh after seeing how much he's improved. Didn't he deliver? He looked devastating.

I'm judging Tony on his fights under his new coaches - who knows how much further he'll go; who knows how much more his coaches can bring him on. He's defo fringe world class at the moment.

I think they've improved him mentally. Against Ajisafe and McKenzie there was a lot of complaining from Tony. It looked at times like his head had gone.

Since returning to his roots, he's looked iron-willed. Nothing has fazed him in his last three fights and he's come across brilliantly out of the ring (he always did mind you).

He looks like a man on a mission. He knows where he wants to go and what he needs to do.

Well done Mick McAllister and co.

By and large this is a good post and i have to agree

On the Cleverly performance ?? , i think those who have followed Tony only as a pro and not an ama would have anybody willing to listen that Tony is over rated , well actually , people who knew what he has in his locker (but for some reason hasn't always been able to deliver that) knew that Tony was going to give Nathan a lot to think about which he did.
