My favourite british fighter of all time - how do you think a prime beast of a LWW Ricky would do against the current 140lb fighters today? would he blast through them or would he have trouble with a few fighters.?

Ricky would do to Maidana what he done to Maussa.

Khan would start off well with the jab but then be bullied maybe into a tko.

Bradleys head would cut Rickys face up but the hitman would find a gap and take him out.

he would do the same to judah as cotto did.

Would loved to have seen him fight JMM.

Cheaterson is roided up and would still get punished with a bodyshot!

Hatton is a great bloke but his greatest achievement was making so much out of such limited talent.A wonderfully positive overachiever.
But if you're honest, why would you say he's your favourite British boxer? Because of what he achieved? I'd like to think it wasn't because you thought he was a fabulous boxer.

The only guy id pick against Hatton is Marquez

Bradley hasnt fought anyone yet who will hit him back, Hatton would push Bradleys **** in

I watched ricky a number of times live and he was entertaining to watch, he had a big following, not because he was english because he went in there and gave it his all... its all he could do because like you say he wasnt the most talented boxer, but he always got the job done.

Hatton has some of the best footwork and setups I've seen in recent times. The way he'd maneouver to open up the body shot and wear the opponent down was something to behold.

His defense was never the best which cost him at elite level (and you could argue should have to Collazo). And he lost his mojo after the Mayweather loss. But entertaining to watch regardless.

Problem is alot of people remeber the Ricky that toiled with Collazo and got KTFO by Floyd and Pac, however In his peak (Tsyzu fight) and up to that point he had a tremedous chin and could just steam roll anyone with Pressure, that version of Hatton beats Khan, Bradley, Maidana, Peterson and I expect abuse for it but he beats Pac at 140 aswell, his chin was gone by the time they did actually fight but he was giving pac some issues in that 2nd round and pac can't fight on the inside that effectively which would be the big issues for Khan and Pac.

Lets not forget, Ricky gave floyd a little trouble in the first 6 rounds of there fight aswell

    Ricky was a good fighter.

But it was ridiculously overrated by his fans.

Who acted like he was the brittish version of Julio Cesar Chavez.

    Hatton is severly underrated

He beat Urango years ago, who would later go on to become one of Alexanders more famous victims.

He beat Malignaggi a few years ago, who is one of Khans top wins and is now a titleholder in the divison.

Hatton also controversially beat Colazo, a guy who Berto went life and death with

Maidana couldnt Ko Khan and Tzyu couldnt Ko Hatton, i dont see Maidana beating Hatton 2bh.

Hatton won just as many rounds against Mayweather as Cotto did, and he fought a better version as well. Hatton also won more rounds than Marquez did.

The only thing which lets Hatton down is his Ko loss to Pac.

If anyone sucks dick, its Junior 'The Shitter' Witter

I miss Hatton. Hope he stays retired. He only lost to the two greatest fighters of his time.

Hatton beats them all. I'll probably get **** for that comment though as he is seriously underrated by Americans as they missed his prime years and only got to see him when he was already on the slide (which i blame Fwank for)
