Apparently some chick on twitter showed a pic of herself driving his car the day before, and made a comment about how, atleast she got to drive it before he wrecked it.

Wonder if he was stepping out on his babies momma, and hittin it?

I agree with that, and you know my faith, but this is a good example of how the devil, and the world will hurt your testimony, your witness, etc. If this guy boasted about not driving drunk, and things he did/ didn't do (I dunno his faith a whole lot), but things like that are the wrong outlook on others.
I'm a christian, try to live my life like the bible calls me too, but I've also learned to be humble, and it's hard to tell what I could potentially do if I let up on my christian walk for a second.
Lord knows just like you said we have mess ups in our lives, weaknesses, etc. I know I got mine, but God is gracious enough to help me work on them. We can all be forgiven for anything as long as we breath, but the devil can most definitely destroy our lives (if we let him), destroy our reputation when it comes to saying "I beleive in God, and live like the way he's called me to" and we look like hypocrits.
So, this hurts Jon Jones witness', but hopefully he understands the lesson of being humble, and watching what he says (if he said all that).

Below .08 is nothing, here in pa it would not be a dui (tho you can get a lesser related charge below that level). also if it was in fact at 5 am likely he was trying to sober up after drinking a lot earlier (hooking up with a girl or chilling at a friends pad) which is at least attempting to be responsible.

it's not so much that he got the charge, it's that he was so arrogant to act as if he would never get a dui that should be embarassing for him.

edit: also disagree that having 1 beer and driving is the same thing. depending on your size and the amount of time, it takes a bit more than 1 to get even close to .08. as a 250lber, i can have just under 4 beers in an hour and still be just around .08 and as jones is likely at around 220lbs he'd be close to that mark (he could have at least 3 in his first hour and still be under .08. and of course the body burns off about .20 of the alcohol each hour if i recall right

In Australia the limit is .05.

That's three standard drinks in the first hour for the average male or 2 for women. .08 is lowrange.

I've always had an idea this whole "holier than thou" act by Jones was all bull****, as someone rightly stated he is a self righteous pompous *****.

Best P4P in the world? probably

inconsiderate ******* who put's other peoples lives at risk by getting behind the wheel loaded? most definetly

Hopefully Hendo knocks his head off

turns out the girl was only 16 years old

jones has been exposed as a fraud, maybe the religious act was all just to keep his moms and pops happy, they are bible bashers too

he also got his mother to bail him out, i have no respect for the man

You could very well be right, or he could of simply been a dummy at the time, didn't think, and did what he did.
Nothing can excuse the fact he drove drunk, but it's obvious his level wasn't very high, especially for 5 AM. So he either didn't drink much and thought he'd be ok, or did drink plenty but took the time to let it wear off. I don't defend the guy, but am amazed at how badly people bash him. Ironic thing is there are tons of athletes in the christian spot light, whom stories like these don't take place, and YET... People still hate them, and call them self righteous hypocrits on no basis. Bet if I posted a story about something good Tim Tebow did I'd have 90% of people on here bash it.
I've heard it's estimated a negative story spreads 10x faster than a positive story. That's the kind of world we live in.
Guy did wrong, should have got proved to him he should be more humble in life, and hopefully he has learned from his mistake. Just wrecking his Bentley should be a good lesson learned.

He's young. He'll make mistakes. But his thinly veiled arrogance is easy to see through. If he didn't assume this self righteous stance he wouldn't get lambasted from all quarters by 'surprised' fans. Personally iv never taken to him. I think his self deprecating humility is pious at best. Give me Cormier or Fedor any day of the week.

Hes shown his colours in the octagon. A savage beast who dont give a damn about others. You dont choke someone unconscious, then just drop them like a sack of ****. A decent person doesnt need to be told to go check on someone. And what he did to Hammill was disgusting

The sooner he moves up the better. I want to see him hurt and hurt bad

Id say unsportsmanlike. For a man who's content to remind everyone how squeaky clean his 'image' is he doesn't seem to actually care much about his colleagues or have the comradery that you would expect among peers.
