Amir Khan vs. Danny Garcia Build-Up Thread!

Garcia is Maidana with less power more skill, I think Khan should win on points, just to much movement and speed, Khan wont stop him.

 

I have never watched Garcia fight, really haven't taken any interest in him and his career.

 

My prediction is this

Khan and his camp do a whole lot of talking about fighting Floyd Mayweather before & after the fight (regardless of the outcome) and not so much about fighting Danny Garcia.

Garcia has pretty fast hands but little in the way of footwork. He comes forward, let's a flurry go, re-sets. I think he showed decent poise against Holt and Morales though. Theopane beat him from what I remember of it.

Garcia has average pop. I don't think he'll cause Amir much trouble in that respect. He won't through caution to the win like Maidana did, so Khan should land enough flurries himself (he's faster, longer and sharper) whilst using his superior movement to stop Garcia picking his moments.

Khan comfortable decision or late stoppage. Garcia will land though, and I think this'll be a fun fight between two game, young and quick fighters.

In all seriousness, this should be an entertaining fight, but Garcia has literally no chance.
