Garcia only took this fight for money..he made some really high demands. Hes too slow and nothing extraordinary about him. He does have pop in his punches and anyone with power can trouble khan

Although he didn't exactly have an easy time with Pacquiao, Marquez had some of his best performances in the trilogy with Pac. Marquez is at his best when fighters are aggressive and come to him. He has the most trouble against patient boxers and you can see that when he fought John and Mayweather.

What Garcia lacks in experience relative to Khan, he makes up for with discipline and fundamental correctness. I think Khan is going to try and do that silly **** he's been doing lately (run in like a jackass and throw ridiculously wild, ineffective, shoe shine, flurries) and catch some counter shots that could be very problematic. If Khan would fight a disciplined fight he could win it pretty clearly, but if he fights like an irresponsible ****** he'll get rocked and possibly stopped. Garcia has heavy hands, and is a really good counter puncher, and seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Really good fight...

Anyone think this is gonna be easy for Khan is overlooking Garcia. The kid is a smart fighter. He's more well-rounded than Khan. Garcia may not do one thing great, but he does everything pretty well. He's got defense, movement and good balance. And he's a counter puncher with power to put you down. Khan knows better now than to overlook this kid. I cant wait for this fight.

"Wrong time"...coming off a loss in which he was literally running from his opponent in the ring and doing all he could to "get away" from Lamont Peterson...how is this the "wrong time"?

I don't think so but If Garcia loses he can come back strong so I don't see the harm. If he wins he's on top of the world. Worth the risk especially vs someone like Khan who has a glass jaw and issues with not only following a gameplan and resorting to amatuer shoe shining and jumping around but also has great difficulty adapting to anything that was unexpected......if anyone can have an off night it's Khan and if anyone can get sparked by a big shot at any point it's Khan so although I'd favour Khan I think Garcias a really live underdog and wouldn't count him out or be super surprised if he wins. His hunger is gonna be dangerous for Amir.....not sure how good he is on the inside but if he can infight well and employs that tactic vs Khan we're gonna see an upset!! I'm hyped for this fight, war Garcia!! I'ma put some money on Garcia cause the odds will be nice

I see Khan stopping him late, sadly.

Garcia's only hope is that Khan turns into a senior citizen like Morales did in his last fight. Morales was beating Garcia's ass easily until Eric needed his walker to continue fighting.

Im rooting for Garcia. If he takes a L he can recover and keep going. He does have everything to win in this fight. Khan is risking more if anything.

I don't see this fight going well for Danny... and I hate Khan's fighting style.

What do you all have against the decision of Garcia's team tp choose one of the toughest opponents he could face in his division? We criticize other young beltholders for choosing and also apparently criticize them for choosing a tough fight. Garcia and his team should be commended, and we should all wish other beltholders were the same in this regard.

If you have a belt, you're supposed to be the best in the division fighting Khan is the right thing to do.
