the jump from 175 to 220 maybe a little too dangerous

and whats gonna happen for people in between that weight?

so if a guy like hmmm pascal gains a pound of muscle and cant make 175 no more he should be fighting a guy like Haye, adamek, or wilder???????

    kinda extreme man.

the 200-220 idea sounds better than that.

176-220 weightclass is kinda rediculous man.

No. The guys who routinely fight at 210-215 can probably burn a little fat and make cruiser without adversely affecting their health.

The guys just at the 220 mark or in the low 220's (and not bloated to uselessness) are big enough that they really have no excuse to not face the seven footers.

    It's fine as it is.

    Cruiser just needs better marketing.

I agree. . Cruiserweight actually has some potential right now. . . Lots of good names. . . I was hoping Adamek, and Chambers would move down. . .

Agree with others here. Creating another heavyweight division is the dumbest, stupidest, most idiotic idea ever. And the people who argue in favour of this, always base this just on the freaking Klitschkos, who dominate a crappy division, have limited boxing skills, and who have already been beaten before (and by sub-par overweight opposition). The Klitschkos are ridiculously overrated, and their legacy seems to spawn ******ed ideas like this one.

How about raising the LHW limit to like 185 and the cruiser limit to 209?

another division, that is crazy. we already have enough. too many reasons for orgs to make more belts for their financial pleasure- mike tyson was no more than 220 in his hey day and he was knocking fools way bigger and heavier than him

that is the problem. too many boxers at hw not in shape. if they were, they would be weighing 220

deontay wilder doesnt weigh more than 220. he may not be a good example but, if u r in shape like him, u could be knocking out people too

But 205 vs a Klit? I don't think so. I think my idea (above) is pretty good. When you're no heavier than 210 or even 215, you can hardly dream about HW Championship.

lets do it...and we can figure out 2 more divisions to add and we can all be happy with the nice round number of 20 for total weight divisions

Awful idea. We'll see a lot of guys who should be around 200-210 bulking up to 220 to fight in the heavyweight division.
