    Not hating, but he was...lead straight right was missing all night. The uppercut was the only punch that consistently

    cotto applied a very good defense by keeping his hands up by his face.

    Yeah, I think people are just underestimating how good Cotto actually is with Diaz in his corner. Cotto is strong, mobile, an olympian and a hall of famer. Floyd needed that type of fight.

    He clearly won, but he just didn't look very sharp to me. Then there was a sequence when he missed like 5 punches in a row. Not just blocked, but he straight up missed home

    Despite putting on a masterful performance, Floyd showed his age in the fight. His typically pinpoint accuracy was off. The larger gloves probably didn't help, given that Cotto was able to use his 10oz gloves for defense and Floyd had a harder time sliding his shots in between the guard as a result with his larger gloves, etc.. Even so, Floyd still had Cotto reeling and almost out in the last round.

    And his defence is worse than I thought.

    Floyd did not underestimate Cotto. Floyd came in ready to go to war and absolutely did.

    :good He looked very beatable. *******s are in full effect after this one. They couldn't wait for him to look vulnerable. :rofl On a side note, a may/ortiz rematch looks a lot more interesting now.

    No I think people underestimated Cotto and just expected Floyd to land whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.

    I knew Cotto would be on his game

    idk, I think he had the ability to step it up when/if he needed to. I think he may have underestimated him a little, regardless of what he said post fight.

    Yes, and especially later in the fight. I believe Floyd was even surprised by how GOOD Cotto's defense was in there.


    Only thing I saw that worries me as a fan of Floyd, was that same outside lead right uppercut (same one that got Ortiz blazing just before the butt) he about got in trouble with Cotto on the same ****. He might wanna rethink when and even if he should use that shot. :yep
