    Ruslan Chagaev = 27 fights

These f***** Klitschko bros are not giving time for newstarters to breathe. Wladimir is already with his eye on Price when he has to deal with Thompson first. Vitali was already with his eye on Chisora after the helenius fight when he was about to take Adamek in Poland... They really are making the best out of a weak HWT Division by all means.

He was asked if he would give price a shot... wlad is in the UK for christ sakes. Of course that question will come up.

He said he would give him a shot..... doesnt mean the fight is next, doesnt mean its even next year.... it means exactly what it says.... Ill give him a shot..... if they want it...OK...if not,,,ok

Had Wlad said "NO..NO shot. He is to green", you ****ers would be screaming "DUCK"

When you clean out the division you have to consider everyone. Some guys ducking, others have already been beaten. All roads lead to wlad and there is no toll bridge~!!

Best I could tell from both the Price camp and y'all's camp is that Wlad would accommodate his schedule in 18 months to fight Price......IF....Price is still wanting the fight, and IF, Price is winning and ready.

Nothing in the OP's article suggests Wlad is calling out a green fighter. I think if anything this is a slap in Potvetkins face more than anything as Wlad is telling the world he thinks highly of bronze medalist Price, but has forgotten all abotu goldy Potvetkin.:lol:

Povetkin could have fight twice against Wlad but ducked Wlad twice.

-Povetkin would already be on Wlad's resume if he hadn't ducked his own mandatory title shot TWICE.

-Valuev priced himself out of fights with either brother. :-(

I believe both fights would have happened if either of those guys wanted to face a Klitschko.

You do realize SNV isn't a solid defensive southpaw I take it?

No one's said Price is next or anything of that sort.

Speaking of Price though I'd love to see him and Fury duke it out!
Price has very good one punch power but he doesn't use his size too well which kind of plays into Fury's hands. Would be a good scrap

Ooooooh, looky what we got here, a PRIME SNV, what do you know!
I'll tell what WK would do to a prime SNV -- shred him apart systematically for the whole world to see what a clueless slow gigantic freakshow he is/was.
Granted, SNV had some BASIC boxing ability like he learned to throw a jab properly and a right hand but you know what - thats what every 10-year old is capable of doing on their second week of training while standing in front of a mirror and practicing.
I'm usually against the "he's just big" argument but in Valuev's case that pretty much sums him up -- he WAS just big.

I think Price should go for it, and as soon as possible. Here's why:

1: Although somewhat raw he actually would have a chance. Maybe not a great chance, but still.

2: Given the dismal state of the HW division, this fight would likely generate a lot of interest, and hence would be a great payday.

3: Even if he loses, Price would likely learn a LOT from that defeat. It's not like Wlad would go for the kill. It would likely be a long battle, with a WLad UD. That's 12 rounds of serious experience that he won't get from fighting lesser guys.

4: Even if he loses, Price's reputation would not be affected. Who would dare knock him for losing to Wlad at this point in his career? In fact, as long as he put up a good fight, his stock would likely go UP, even in defeat.

5: If Price should pull off a miracle, well the rest should be obvious. Vitali would probably instantly retire, Haye would move to some South Sea island and never be heard from again, and Helenius would probably still be injured. Price could then pad his bank account defending against Chisora, Mitchell, etc. - Piece of cake.

That's the thing about Price - Even if he manages to beat Wlad, doesn't mean he's ready to defend a title fight after fight at a World level!

dont waste your time..they are a bunch of idiots..because barry mguigan said wlad picks them young on ringside all the young brits have taken it as gospel..they seem to not have actually read the article which states price is on wlads radar and if he keeps winning he will get a shot..but to english fanboys or klit haters that means wlad wants to fight him next week while hes only been beating domestic journey men..****ing tools...
