Current British HW scene is really exciting today - there are 4 young good heavyweights - David Haye, Derek Chisora, David Price and Tyson Fury. How do you rank them from #1 to #4 and why?
1. Haye (His achievements are greater than the other three) 2. Fury (Beat Chisora) 3. Chisora (Has actually faced world class fighters) 4. Price (Unproven) Only logical way to rank it, even if you think Price is better than Fury or Chisora, he has done nothing to merit being ranked above them. I do suspect my list will change within a year though.
accomplishments- haye, fury, chisora, price h2h- haye, chisora, price, fury future h2h- haye, price, chisora, fury
I don't rate them. None of them are very good. World beater HW's vary from continent to continent, but I tend to wonder if any of these guys are for real. Any of them!
I think Price beats Chisora fairly comfortably. Delboy comes forward in straight lines and lunges in with his shots a fair bit...Price has very good footwork and heavy hands and I think Chisora would take a lot of big shots.
But logically things aren't black & white. Fury higher than Chisora because he beat him? Well, look at how much Chisora weighed-in and compare the performance to his against the likes of Helenius & Vitali. Chisora would beat Fury in a rematch, his improvement has been tremendous. You can have a case for Chisora above Price, but not Fury above Price. Fury's best win is Chisora, who like I said, was in poor shame and a shadow of what he is now. His vulnerabilities exposed in the Pajkic & Firtha fights and controversial victory over McDermott in their first fight. Wasn't much better in the second. Price hasn't looked in danger at all at this level, he's breezing through opposition. Underrated win over Butler and has the amateur pedigree too.
