No excuses. Fought the best fight he could and takes the defeat like a man. What a class act this guy is. I'll be rooting for him until he retires.

no excuses. no crying. just an honest assessment of his performance. he's a humble dude. he put up a great effort but he has plenty of room for improvement. i'd love to see the rematch.

Didn't know they managed to do an interview in the locker. Cotto takes his defeat like a man, as always. Can't see how/why anyone would root against this guy.

Thanks for posting. I heard Merchant was looking to get an interview on the night, I thought he'd not got one. By the way Miguel, you fought a ****ing great fight!

Cotto fought Floyd like a real boss in that ring the night of May 5th. What made everything great was the mutual respect both fighters gave each other prior to the fight. We've never seen Floyd respect anyone before a fight, the way he respected Cotto. Cotto fights like a real champ and then shows nothing but respect afterwards. It was boxing at its best that night. It was a feel good night. Personally, as a boxing fan, I felt hyped as hell weeks after that fight took place. Just the thought that boxing got it right with this match up. It was a beautiful thing.

I missed this interview, thanks for the post. Miguel Cotto is the ****ing man. The way he carries himself inside and outside of the ring is pure class.

He was crying while holding his son. It was sweet.

Not creepy like kissing him full on the lips multiple times like before the fight. Yikes!
