So Im watching the PRIDE 2000 OW GP, and Im in awe at Sakuraba going 90 minutes with royce gracie, then another 15 with Igor Vovchanchyn in the same NIGHT!

So came anyone name some greater losing performances in MMA?

Royce v Kimo(technically not a loss, but kimo won the event), Chael v Anderson, as a couple of examples

Good choices Rusty, assuming you mean Trigg v Hughes 2 though. what you think about the blatant low blow?

Shogun vs Machida I, officially of course. Unofficially, Machida got his ass kicked.

It pains me to agree with Chael v Anderson - but the right guy won :good

Spider was superior to Sonen before the fight. After the fight, and the reason he won the fight is because he is a better fighter :good

That was truly an epic performance. The irony is despite Sakuraba and Royce having no time limit it was a very entertaining fight. Sakuraba is Bushido.

Anyway the first one that comes to mind is probably Randleman vs Bas. As Bas was given the victory although it was plain as day to me that Kevin won.

First one yes. Second? Not sure what you've seen there. Rampage got his ass kicked.
