The 1st fight against Andrade showed that Bute had a glass jaw, and is weak in the championship rounds.

 

How can you have a glass jaw if you get hurt in the last round against a well known puncher due to exhaustion?

And why would a protected fighter go to the Lions Den in Nottingham to fight someone who isn't his mandatory?

If Pute really wanted to make a name for himself, then he would have moved to LHW to settle the score with Pascal.. Or he would have called out Mikkel Kessler or Carl Froch pre-super six

He was busy avenging that apparent loss you think he had against Andrade when the Super Six was starting up (and he demolished him in 4, btw). He actually had his priorities straight, and wasn't issued an invitation to the super six.

He's fighting Froch now, I don't understand the issue.

Who's even at Light Heavyweight? Dawson? Hopkins? Pascal? They were all busy fighting eachother, it'd be no better to move up to LHW then it was to stick around at SMW, avenge his "loss", get a few impressive wins under his belt and get the winner of the Super Six. Unfortunately that didn't happen but he's taking on the next best option, and in his home town; Carl Froch.

Come on, man. You think anybody would fight elsewhere just to be known as a road warrior if they had the option to fill an arena at home and fight? You think Froch would've travelled if he'd had the option and his belt?
