Carl Froch will shatter Lucian Bute's fragile glass jaw

So when Bute beats Froch from pillar to what will your excuse be then?

 

You should watch that once more... he couldn't have been saved by the ref on the count, because he was UP IN TIME and he went down at 2:55... so he was up after the fight had ENDED!

The controversy was;
1) the ref was counting very slowly (but that didn't matter anymore because Bute was already saved by the bell)
2) the ref could have stopped it before Bute went down (too much punishment)
3) The IBF rule that he only had to RISE if time had passed (didn't have to be steady or even fully up).

If you don't like points 2 and/or 3 you have a point, but Bute was not saved by the count.

Glad that somebody else also gets it. Also the time keeper screwed up big time. All this ref controversy (long count etc) wouldn't have happened if the time keeper would have done his job.

 

Do glass jaws exist?

If so, does Bute have one? And finally, if he does, wilL Froch "shatter him some glass"?

I remember one of the breaks between rounds in the Kessler fight, Froch said that he kills him to the body..and saturday he will fight with the best bodypuncher in the division .. and that might be enough for a stoppage.. It is not likely that Froch will be knocked out.. but in this one.. there is a possibility..

Haha even though you make fun of my favorite fighter, I enjoy your sense of humor, and knowledge on all things "glass jawed" So I have another question: "Can glass jaws be 'repaired'"? Or "hardened"? Khan seems to have had surgery to replace the glass with concrete?

 

It's a topic that has been debated alot.. Khan has not been knocked out since getting his clock cleaned in 1 round against Prescott. I still believe that Khan has a fragile glass mandible, Maidana has always been overrated, and Khan useually runs, holds and pushes when he faces adversity..
I don't think that there is much evidence in history to support that a fighter can develop a chin..
