I respect your opinion as the testing shows what it shows.

But how can you ignore the facts...they don't show, say, what Petersen shows. It shows traces in the fractions of trillions.

I'm not saying your wrong buddy, just saying it seems to be different than Petersen. The results show contamination rather than intentional.

I'm not arguing with you though. I'm just putting that out.

Bull****!! it could also mean he stopped using some time ago in hopes it would be out of his system before any testing. Cheater!!!

If he used an amount required to cheat it would still be in his system today because according to science it stays in the system for 6 - 18 months.

He doesn't have the amount in his system that would indicate he used the drug to cheat and nandrolone is something that the old tests can actually catch, look at the James Toney situation.

Seems to me you want him to be a cheat for some reason, but the science simply doesn't support your assertion.

is there really official announcement aside from the ultra_reliable montoya?

did vada came out with it or you just have vested interest that he is innocent.

the science says he has a drug that is never physiologicaaly produced by the body, or simply a synthetic substance that implies itnis only taken by exogenous source....

using supplements as an excuse is quite old. wada closed that loophole already by actually putting up list of approved supplements. if you plan to take supplements, be sure that it has wada or usada clearance. supplement medications are covered by the act of 1994 where the primary requirement is that it is just safe for people tobtake it, not prove it works.

When you tear your muscles as much as Berto, you are on steriods.

There is no doubt that Berto is on steriods. He tears a muscle every other week.

He's using Conte to beat the system with his synthetic, test beating steriods, but he ****ed up.

So yes, Berto is on steriods. Did ya'll not see him against Quintana, arguably his best win?

That ain't a false positive you moron. It was a true positive. VADA's tests were sound and impartial to whatever Berto was taking.

Its a false positive because the results come via contamination, which can come from food that is tainted or tainted supplements.

VADA tests are most definitely sound and impartial, they also confirm what Conte initially said, which is that most of the time nandrolone positives are the result of contamination. The VADA analysis confirmed that.

Nice story but what does that have to do with reality and this situation?

that's not a false positive. It's a true positive due to contamination. Or rather maybe due to contamination - there is no confirmation so far but they are apparently trying to find a likely source. And a low concentration alone is not proof of contamination even if it may seem likely to many. A bloodtest could have provided more info in this case, for example if he had taken nandrolone or pro-hormones, but we're not likely to see that done any time soon.

I'm not making anything up....you've resorted to calling Berto's failed drug test as a "false positive". there's nothing to validate your "false positive" theory other than the basis of "it could be a false positive".

If it was a false positive the fight would go through as it's a FALSE POSITIVE. Berto failed the test and the traces were minimal where "IT COULD HAVE BEEN" a flase positive. Not that it was.

Nothing has been proven to clear his name....no more than James Toney who had a similar situation that he's still held responsible for.

It stays in the system for 6-18 months but not at the same concentration. Just like any other medicine. Elimination of any chemical in your body happens by either first order elimination or zero order elimination. The more time you wait from the last dose, the lowest the concentration will be. That is basic pharmacokinetics.

By the way, I am an anesthetist. I spent long hours studying the pharmacokinetics and elimination of medications. Berto probably isn't using now, but he got that body by using it. He cheated!! There is no really way around, except may be $$$$. That substance isn't just laying around everywhere.
