UFC HW Champ Junior dos Santos: "Give me 3 months and I can beat the Klitschkos..."

When James Toney ran his mouth, he got a fight, and made himself, and boxing looks stupid.

When an MMA dude responds like that - Boxing doesn't stand up to the Challenge.


Although Wlad would clearly knock this guy out in a Boxing Ring.

Dude looks extremely crude here. He squares up often and has poor balance it seems. I'd have my doubts about him beating someone like a Chazz Witherspoon, let alone a Klitschko. Very big difference between Traditional Boxing and MMA Boxing.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if a Klitschko actually beat him in an MMA matchup too.

 

Butthurt Dana just wanted to show his crowd that MMA is better. Nevermind the guy they chose isn't even relevant in BOXING anymore but ok.

If this MMA guy wants a shot, then work your way up the ranks like everyone else.

James Toney had to push for about a year to get that fight.

He had the balls to do it.

Wake me up when an MMA fighter has the balls to get in the ring with real players in boxing.

I know of boxers that have knocked out real players in MMA with one punch.

They aren't scared to try MMA. If Dos Santos says he can beat Klitschko in boxing, put his money where is mouth is and get the BIGGEST PAYDAY OF HIS CAREER BY FAR.

 

**** Dana White.......but I´m sorrry, I am a boxing fan obviously but I have to say that MMA is not a modality of fight like Boxing to people compare like that "Oh, Toney accepted a fight in his sport and he didn´t in Boxing".
If Couture vs Toney was fought in wrestling rules you would have a point......but that´s not the case......Toney was allowed to use what he knows well, exactly like Couture was able to use what he knows well, and that´s WRESTLING.
Couture was a great wrestling guy that did MMA fights and addapted his game to it.....Toney is a boxing guy, and great fighter in it.....

Sorry, it´s just the facts....

You damn well know that James Toney would fight Dos Santos if he could make the highest pay day in his career.

Toney didn´t fight Couture to a wrestling fight.....Both could use what they know best.....
Couture is just more well rounded in things outside his own game where he is great as well as Toney is in his own.....Right, Hendo ?

To be fair i think Dos Santos would actually do it but i think boxing politics would make it difficult to make the fight. Either klitschko would beat JDS but i would definitely pay to see that than ****ing Thompson rematch

I´m pretty sure JDS would make much more money in Boxing.......I´m pretty sure that he knows that he wouldn´t be so sucessful only fighting Boxing like he is in MMA (HW Champion of the World right now).....

Dos Santos said he would beat the **** outta Klitschko in a boxing match. Put your money where your mouth is, make the highest pay day of your career.

There is a similiar situation with Mayweather.

Mayweather says Pacquaio is easy work. Put your money where your mouth is and make the highest pay day of your career.
