Carl Froch will shatter Lucian Bute's fragile glass jaw

FORREAL only has noble intentions. . . He simply wishes to educated his fistic colleagues on the concept of the "glass jaw."

I don't necessarily agree that Bute has a glass jaw, but if FORREAL believes he does, he very well might. . .

 

Prevaricate as much as you want, the saved by the bell rule was not in effect - you stated it was. If the ref deemed Bute unfit to continue - which he was - the fight should have been stopped. Nevermind the long count. He was a corrupt referee.

Anyway, I like Bute, he seems a good guy and I respect him for fighting Froch in his back yard but Andrade won that fight. He was robbed.

About the "Bute has a glass jaw" thing, is it based on anything else than one round in one match in one career so far?

 

The IBF rules says that a boxer who's knocked down with less than 10 seconds left to the fight, which was the case, only have to get up. Once the boxer got up, the timekeeper ring the bell to end the bout. Besides, Andrade should have stayed in his corner rather than in the middle of the ring. You could make a case that another referee could have stopped the fight before, and I agree, but another referee also could have let the fight continue.

Bute get's knocked down by a tough fighter in Adrade and now people want to label him with a glass jaw? I do think Bute should've lost that fight as the count was clearly longer than 10 seconds, but people are quick to off him now..

For one, Bute was showboating (because he was dominating) and leaving his hands down in his first fight with Andrade and just happened to get caught.. Doesn't mean he has a glass jaw..

Secondly, I think everyone is blowing up the whole "he gasses too early" **** out of the water.. It didn't look like he gassed when he dominated the "never-stop-coming, in your face" Glen Johnson in his last fight..

This is going to be a good fight, but I think Bute will a tough, but clear decision.. Bute's skillset is too good for Froch and I seriously doubt that he'll be showboating and leaving his hands down in this fight..

 

Does anyone KNOW that Bute was sick that evening against Andrade or are they just repeating the same thing to troll?

Anyways, i'm only answering this thread because i'm excited for the fight and would talk about ANYTHING regarding the bout.

 

I would gladly make an avatar bet that Bute doesn't get knocked out. He might get robbe like Dirrell though. The only advantages Froch has are reach and chin. It's not like Froxh has ever even faced a top level southpaw.

 

For the chin, we don't even know. Bute was sick that night against Andrade. It's a well known fact.

Froch has incredible mandible fortitude though.
