    160 or 147.

Remember, Cotto is HUGE. He's a giant JR. MIDDLE.

He is GINORMOUS. No WAY he could make 147. Dude should be at middleweight.

He's a HUGE jr middlweigth and Floyd was the same size.

Remember, Cotto is WAY too big to make 147 right?

So he must be a ****in giant.

    Am I wrong?

    No.

    Exactly.

So here is what I'm sayin, Mayweather is a true 154 lb fighter becuase he just fought a GIANT of a man.

So he should defend his title against the BEST which is Martinez who is willing to come down to 154 and fight Floyd for $10.

Floyd will not face a man unless he knows there is a way to beat them, when has he faced an undefeated fighter last? people will throw out Hatton, But Collazo beat Hattons ass 1st

The thing about Floyd is that fact that he talks all that **** and then doesn't fight the man.

He's like the kid that's talkin **** on the schoolyard and then runs inside the classroom and locks the door, but is still makin faces inside the window.

Thats the way he promotes himself though he is selling koolaid we know that even his fans know this. But when it comes to the type of fans Floyd have well let me put it to you like this, they are fascinated with Floyd from head to toe, they talk about his money, his possessions every single aspect of the man as if they were school girls with a crush on the man.

Probably started his career out at 147, and be fighting at 154 now. . .

He doesn't have to diet or anything to make 154 now. . So back then, he would just diet while training, and he'd be at 154 easy. . .

Or probably would be fighting every fight at a catchweight, like 75% of fights happened at back then. .

There was no 154 division in 1950.

He could fight at 160 or 147.

    That's IT.

He'd be at 147 because he would have started earlier in his life and would always be in shape because there weren't those long layoffs back then.

ahh, damnit, yes, of course! Lol noob mistake!

Then I think he'd have started out fighting at around 147, and then 160. .

But I think most of hte fights in between would take place at weights of like 149-155. . Not sure if it was actual catchweights, but if u look at boxrec, a lot of the boxers weighed in all over the place.

Yep, and he'd be fighting monthly to make ends meet and to stay on top of his game.

Just because they weighed in at a certain weight doesn't mean it was a catchweight.

Look at Ray Robinson. He often came in below the middleweight limit, but his opponents often had trouble making 160.

Under same day weigh ins then MW, he came in at 159 against Corley, so I'm not sure he'd be comfortable at WW even back then with same day weigh ins

So if Mayweather beat a legitimate middleweight, he should have no problem facing Martinez at 154.

    Am I right?
