First of all, 154 is a FAKE ASS division.

Back in the day in Robinson's era, there was no fake ass division where fighters could run to in order to duck the REAL challenges.

Floyd would have to fight at 160 or 147.

If you're sayin Floyd is the best, he needs to PROVE IT by figthing the BEST.

NoBODY on this FORUM would say anybody at 154 is more dangerous than Martinez.

Thats because the person who is claiming the ducking is Arum who promotes Cotto and Pac and Margarito. Hoya and GBP don't go around stating fighters from other stables are ducking.

Since Mayweather is his own boss he gets the blame for when fights don't get made since he is a boxer. Cotto, Margo, Pac don't fight someone the blame goes to Arum and then swept under the rug since Arum is allowed to duck as a promoter.

Cotto has been at 154 for a while but hasn't fought Martinez yet is Cotto ducking him? Pac ducked Mayweather passing on a 50-50 split over a 14 day cut off from drug testing. Then passed up on 40mil guaranteed. .

He already agreed to only 20% to make the fight happen.

Whatever Martinez "would" do is irrelevant. The FACT is, Martinez does NOT fight @ 154. He fights @ 160.

 

Then he should move down and fight for a title and try and unify with Floyd. Floyd would do it in a heartbeat.
