Well, I don't see Floyd beating average SMWs like Lee or Rubio at their natural wieghts, and SRR would likely be a SMW today if he was fighting and using modern training methods. Hell, even more likely a LHW. I picture him as a prime RJJ with a granite chin. Nah, Floyd aint beating a LHW with the skill of RJJ and the chin of Ollie Mccall.
But........the liver has no idea how sturdy the beard is. Only a guy who viciously attack the body with hard CPs could hurt him.
If they were the same size and everything, I'd pick Floyd. But Ray was a big welter and is just too/big and skilled for Mayweather. The good little man usually loses to the good big man.
I really think when people come on here with THIS type of MORONIC NONSENSICAL BULL****, they do it with a smile, saying, "watch how many people respond to this". To say "SRR lost x number of fights and Floyd never lost", and use THAT as criteria is nonsense. First, look at Ray's comp and see how many losses occurred toward the end of his career. I'd love to see FM fight as often as SRR did, v. good comp. Anyway, I'm not falling for this dude's nonsense, I'm done.
says a ******* who before Manny thought boxing meant boxing in a dog so he cant run and they can have dinner
Some of you guys need to learn to think for your self. I bet half of you have only watched SRR highlights on youtube and heard he was the GOAT so you went with it. :-( guess any guy who doesn't think SRR was a god doesn't know **** about boxing.I don't agree with the OP but he makes a valid point that should be argued not just crucified and labeled a troll. Now personally I think SRR wins but I can see some cases where Floyd would be able to come out on top. SRR size would bother Floyd, along with this power and equal speed, but I see this fight going two ways. SRR catches Floyd early and stops him,or Floyd figures him out midway through the fight and makes the proper adjustments late and gets the decision. Personally I'd bet on the first one,at 147 SRR just too good. If this fantasy match up was a weight class or two lower where Floyd was at his prime weight,I'd take Floyd. Just my opinion:good
I collect fights i dont watch youtube highlight reels. Not everybody tries to play historian on here. An no there is no way floyd would win against SRR. That shoulder roll will work on the ricky hattons an cottos of todays watered down **** boxing field. Not the level of competition of Rays era. If you wanna make fantasy matchups of floyd vs margarito or tszyu or paul williams go ahead go ahead. taking it as far as srr is a joke.Talent today has declined drastically. It was better in Rays era not worse
