Could Marciano have fought at 175?

Marciano could not make 160lb, that's foolish. He was coming down from arouns 210lb, he was running 12-15 miles a day and still never broke 185. I suspect he might be able to make 175

 

What cruiserweights of the last 10 years would you pick to beat Rocky Marciano?

I think the differences in fat to muscle ration between Marciano's time and now are clear.

 

u not countz the foul spirit of rocco? the foul spiritz would overcum mccline's disproportioned small ***** and testicles? mccline would leave ring in stretcher. grant was a long ***** but his chin is mud of glass, and wit bad posture and notrious hunch back from yeras of sitting in small school desks, rocco would reach that glass. whitaker would crush rocco no doubtz but at wut cost? sweat pea was to sweat, even so small, he would school the rockz like he chavez.

This post must be a joke right? Not only would Joe NEVER step in the ring with The Rock... but if he did... He would've gotten crushed.

 

But you can see from my picture, how he could still cut a lot of weight for a weigh in

 

Maybe none --- I love Marciano, just leave the rose colored glasses to others .. pound for pound he was as tough as anyone that ever fought. He is possibly in my top five all time between 180 and 200 ... I go back and forth on him v.s. Dempsey but pick Langford over either ... I know you think I'm crazy on the next one but from a stylistic match up I think Fitz may have beaten him ... I can't factor in Holyfield as I definitely believe he was a major juicer at heavyweight and did not fight at cruiser long enough for me to decide if he beats Rocky or not ... just not sure...

 

My favorite Marciano photo .. what a shot .. yeah, he was definitely bulking up with the carbs .. had pecs like Witherspoon ....

 

I think your grasping for straws here. If Fitz thinks he can set Marciano up for a one punch body knockout trap, well he's gonna be in for a long night. Fitzsimmons at 165lb, I don't think he possibly has the durability to take Marciano's bombs for 15 rounds. Fitz, with his leanback bareknuckle style, low hands...he won't possibly be able to survive a knockout volume puncher like Marciano.

 

Assinine. Once more those w'out a true knowledge of boxing go w/ c-level fighters to beat greats . It has ruined talking boxing. I would love to really know you guys and bet on fights.

The more flattering picture I posted was Marciano at a very lean and cut 185 lbs.
