And at that time Floyd did not have the #2 #3 and #4 revenue producers. There numbers were much more even.

Floyd did not have $94,000,000 in revenue with Cotto and a $50,000,000 payday.

Floyd did not have $78,000,000 in revenue with Mosley and a $40,000,000 payday.

Floyd did not have $78,400,000 in revenue with Ortiz and a $40,000,000 payday.

Manny Pacquiao had a career high of $25,000,000 when they went to negotiations in 2009. Floyd Mayweather had a career high of $26,200,000 when they went in negotiations in 2009.

I'm sure you see my point. Floyd produces more revenue. Manny did $71,000,000 with Cotto and $74,000,000 with Marquez. He has never touched anything near the #1 with De La Hoya-Mayweather $137,800,000 and the #2 with Cotto-Mayweather $94,000,000.

So you can see why the 50/50 was fair in the first negotiations. It is Manny's own fault for not taking the extra drug testing. The fight would then have been made. Floyd even accepted the $10,000,000 penalty, and moving the fight to a March 13th date that Pacquiao chose.

Pacquiao should quit making excuses, take his career high of $15,000,000 more his highest payday, while Floyd will make his career high of $15,000,000 more his highest payday, and us fans can see a fight, with a fair deal.

De La Hoya Mayweather split $79,000,000, though only $45,700,000 of that came from guarantees. Obviously Pacquiao-Mayweather will split more than $79,000,000..projected around $100,000,000, but we'll use $105,000,000. So Manny would get a career high of $40,000,000 and Floyd would have a career high of $65,000,000.

 

Floyd moves the fukin goalposts everytime . First it was bloodtesting, 2 week cutoff. Then he said no to that. Then it was full, unlimited testing. Then he said no, he wants more money. I remember predicting that **** before it even happened, all these floyd queers were saying he'd never price himself out of the fight.

 

Floyd and Mosley did FULL random tests up to the fight.

Why would Mayweather take steps backwards and do cutoffs when he just did a successful fight against Mosley with full testing? The stricter tests mean a lot, as we are seeing these days.

 

Well guess what Pac agreed to 'full testing' and Floyd came back with another fukin roadblock - money.

All these Floyd groupies were saying 50/50 was fine and he wouldn't demand any more, now there defending him for it. atsch

They never agreed to All that was on the table at that time. Pac still wanted to negotiate the details of the test. Floyd budged a bit. So did Pac but not enough. Floyd should have NEVER budged at all on the test and just said "Let the testers do their job"

Floyd gave them a time-limit on when they had to sign off on it and they didn't meet it. He warned them that once they miss the deadline the deal is off the table...ALL OF IT.

50/50 is off the table because the deal wasn't signed off. Why? Because of drug testing. Drug testing that Pac wanted to negotiate.

So whose fault is it? It's both. Floyd for bringing up drug testing and Pac for trying to negotiate how Testers do their job.


Financial Status/Numbers change all the time. What may have been a good deal then may not be a good deal now.

 

Actually its Floyd dictating how the testers do there jobs by trying to change the rules and control how drug testing is done in a professional fight.

If he wasnt such a pansy, and just did his job like every other fighter and let the commissions do there jobs, we wouldn't be in this situation.

But all that is irrelevant now since Pac has made it clear he'll agree to any testing as long as the split is fair , but Floyd moved the goalposts on that one too, which is a fight killer.

Did he agree when the original offer was made?

 

Pac agreed to full testing TWO YEARS LATER.

Fighters are independent contractors. They hold the right to ask for additions in their contracts.

Floyd had good cause to go above the standard testing considering their testing has been proven to be a joke and behind. They have admitted that it is the Cost of additional tests that is the major road-block for them not improving on their current test.

Pac never agreed to Full Testing all the way through when they were in original negotiations. That deal is done. You move forward and start over and you base it off of your current portfolio.

 

What split is fair? Pac wants 50/50, which he doesn't deserve. He sure as hell doesn't have the PPV numbers Mayweather does.
