Yes it does. This ain't some ****-fight in the Philippines. This is big business, and that is how business decisions are made. Being compensated properly and being "fair", extends to the person who makes more on average as well.

He has to pay out money to GBP anyway. Why would he have to split up money with Top Rank? 50% would go to Floyd / GBP , and the other 50 to Top RAnk / Pacquiao.

If he wanted 50/50 he should have agreed to the fight 3 years ago.

Read Floyd's business model, then come back and discuss. Google it.

If you truly believe this....then you are far beyond the point of having rational thought and/or debate about this topic.:-( I could back 1, 2 or 3 years...but instead, lets go back a few months. And it should tell you all you need to know about Team Pacquiao. Floyd said (in November) May 5th....let's make it happen. Holiday weekend celebrated by a culture that are the BIGGEST Boxing fans in the world (and Pacquiao even fought 3 different times on this Holiday weekend). Team Pacquiao

:patsch. Then FMJ sentenced is delayed. Team Pacquiao

(even though no construction even got started:patsch). FMJ CALLS PACQUIAO (not his advisors, not his agent , not his fat-ass friend...but Manny himself!!!) says $40Mil Guaranteed, in fact FMJ said he will wire him $20 Million within 48hours. That is unprecedented...Never in history of Boxing (not that I know of) where a fighter agrees to send an opponent money for a fight!!! (especially this kind of money. FMJ simply said NO 50/50. I can't find anyone (other than you) that believes Pacquiao deserves 50/50. Because FMJ was on a deadline...FMJ was ready and willing to make this fight. Team Pacquiao (especially Arum) never wanted this fight. And doesnt make u less of a Pacquiao fan to admit this. In fact, Team Pacquiao never wanted the Bradley fight.

emmanuel not as smart as I thought he was. just because you were offered something in the past doesn't mean that same offer will always be available. It's about opportunity and timing. no wonder why bob is ripping him off.

"back then" emmanuel's Cotto(e) number did better tahn Floyd's Juan number

now emmanuel has had his two disastrous Mosley and Marquez ventures, soon to be 3 with Timmeh

Well Floyd's business model isnt gonna fly . He wants to keep all the revenue for himself and just pay Pac a flat fee. That's never going to happen. That would cut Top Rank out completely. So Floyd gonna have to come back down to reality and stop being greedy if he wants to make the fight, and we know thats never gonna happen.

Cotto got like 30% of PPV revenue. I'd say Pac deserves around 10-15 percent more to make the fight.

    Pac should go for that.

Having no numbers officially released is pretty bad if they were supposed to be so good.

That's 55/45 , sure . Except Floyd isn't offering that. He wants 100% of the ALL the PPV revenue.. that's gate, sponshorships, PPV buys, everything.

He's trying to dick Pacquiao over. 40 mill is nothing compared to the amount of money he'd potentially get through that fight, should it go his way.
