He learn from Pacquiao drain them and beat them. He waits for Bute until he will have to kill himself to do 168 and then he'll fight Bute to.

When will people understand that US TV will rarely be interested in fights that feature two fighters who are neither US based nor US citizens. On top of that, neither do these two have any US media presence.

Doesn't mean they're bad fighters. HBO/Showtime don't necessarily carry the best fighters, they just focus on those fighters that have the best *MARKETABILITY*

A fight between two good South-American fighters is much more marketable (to Hispanic-American viewers) than an equally good fighter from Europe vs. some Canadian/Romanian.

Bute fought on both HBO and Showtime, ah and on ESPN to, Froch on Showtime.
And if it presents no interest for the US fans know that Fat Dan Rafael gone to UK to see this fight.

Best post I have read for a long time. Ward is going for the toughest challenges, and must be respected for it. But his win over Kessler was disgrace, and his win over Green a cure for insomnia.

Showtime should've bought the fight outside of Bute's current contract, it would've served as promotion for his final fight with them (Ward/Dirrell). HBO passed on the fight because of Bute's contract with Showtime, they weren't going to show Bute in a big fight that would give that third fight with Showtime higher ratings.

Personally I hate EPIX. Have to sign up, the stream is crap at times and then there's Fat Dan...

Ward-Dawson isn't set yet. I'm skeptical of this talk of Dawson being able to make 168. I think team Dawson is using it as bait to Ward to get him comitted to this fight without any other real options. When it comes down to it, at best it'll be a 172lbs catch weight. Ward may balk and walk. He's very hesitant to take risks or fight under fair circumstances.

Hatton -Tzyu was on HBO, and neither were nor American or American based. The starting time was also pushed to something like 2 am in order to allow the fight to be shown on primetime in the US. This also happened in Froch-Dirrell. Showtime showed Calzaghe-Kessler, two fighters that had never fought on american soil. I find it very strange that a truly competitive fight like this goes to a third rate cablle channel.

I was to, but to be honest I have not fallowed Dawson career very close up. Those who knows more about him says that he should be able to boil down without any real problems, and hopefully they are right.

You are right that Ward often looks for unfair disadvantages.

Nah.....Im a fightfan. I get to be a fan of Chambers, McCline, Tony Dirrel, Brant Jennings and at the same time be a fan of David Rodriguez, the K2, Bute, Golovkin, Pacqioua etc.

You're a racist. You don't have the luxury of liking white fighters. This is why your fav fighters are Roid Ducker Mayflower, Roid Ducker Ward, David Bitchman Haye etc etc etc. Your'e the guy who swings like a ****** from the sacks fo african fighters. I'm a fightfan and I call it like I see it.:nono

HBO and Showtime are ****ing ******ed. This has all the makings of an epic FOTY type fight. The US loves Froch and can't wait to see if Bute is the real deal. Not picking up this fight, for any reason, is bad for boxing.

Dawson is tailor made for Ward. He's as slick as molasses. His power is so off on it's pathetic. He rarely can fight 12 rds steady without takign rds off completely.

This Bute Ward thing is going on 2 yrs now from when Ward prompted G@@53N to boycott Bute's entry into the s5 as an alternate. So Bute and Showtime patiently await the #2 SMW to emerge fromthe s5 to fight the #1 SMW Lucien Bute. But instead, Ward's ducking continues.:-(
