Whew...ok, I'm beginning to be a believer. For sure I've become a fan. From what I've seen, Khaokor appears to have the better counterpunching ability, might be slightly quicker from the outside, and is a more accurate puncher, while Khaosai has better power and a quicker recovery after being hit. The biggest question I have about Khaokor seems to be a slightly suspect chin. Watching the vazquez and the Moon fights, I noticed that when Galaxy had them in trouble (which happened several times during both fights) and went after them, he was surprisingly easy to back off with a single hard shot. Don't know if this was because he was stung, or because he just figured the guy needed more softening up and no sense wasting himself at that point. At any rate, Khaokor has a new fan.
Well, Vasquez can bang and Moon is one of the hardest punchers in the divisions history. Khaokor was smart IMO.
I think you're probably right. He took some terrific shots from Wilfredo when he stayed inside, and despite the early knockdown, seemed to avoid being in trouble much.
R.I.P Thantong Kiattaweesuk, no.1 contender for the IBF 122lb title. Only fought a few weeks ago, died today in a car accident. Wife and two kids died as well. Terrible news.
You'll have to upload your old man versus the Thai, Al? The Thai fella fought incredible opposition and your dad beat him easier than most by the sounds of it (no doubt the Thai has an incomplete record on boxrec)
